I’ve only just started using this vet and so far so good, lovely staff, free parking, easy to get to, very clean and vets that seem to really care about your animals. The only down side is what they charge, I have been living abroad for the past 4 years and oh my it’s a shock paying uk prices again. Would recommend will definitely recommend.
Sometimes car park is a bit crumped, but there's plenty of parking on nearby streets.
Really helpful. Very understanding. Kind.
Friendly surgery clean and modern. Not too much Parking spaces.
Have been with Acorn House 24 yrs ,excellent care of my pets always.
We had been using another local vet since arriving in the UK from the States but did not feel we were getting the best of service. Switched to Acorn house on the recommendation of our Groomer and were very impressed.
Please DO NOT register your pets here. As lovely as the reception girls are and the vets that show so much care for your pet, that's not enough when you lose a pet and they jump on you with a debts collector letter before even giving you a bill. They also hold your pets ashes for ransom ( even though I paid for her cremation) if you can't pay the bill off when they ask for it. I'm absolutely disgusted by the way I was spoken to by the accounts team a vile women called Claire has not one ounce of compassion also a clueless boy called Paul likes to hang up on you without giving you a reasonable explanation as to why they think it's ok to not send you a bill but send you straight to the debt collector. They also had the audacity to ask me to find another vets ..... that's about the only thing that made sense in all of this ! I strongly advise not registering any of your pets here as they seem to only care about money !!!!
I originally registered my dog's here.
I have only one dog at present, they are very helpful and politely. Acorn House does have parking but isn't very big.
Yes I sent my best friend there to get dewormed then done a good job. Me even take him back to give him the snip if he dose not playing around
Seriously lame advice in relation to the babesiosis outbreak. every time you return from a walk..........look for ticks. Apart from the time it would take to examine your dog each and every time you go out for a walk..WTF does a tick look like. I could go on
I've been entrusting my cats to the staff at Acorn House for the past 15 years and wouldn't take them anywhere else.
Staff here are professional and sympathetic, particularly when dealing with seriously or terminally ill animals.
