Paul Poulton is a British singer-songwriter, guitarist and writer. Born in West Bromwich he has released fifteen albums and eight singles. Poulton tours in the UK and US. His song "Flaky People" was played extensively on American radio. The song talked about flaky leaders who fool around, which became poignant at the time of the Bill Clinton – Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Poulton is known for his guitar based rhythmic songs. He is noted for his on stage chats mixed with humour and as a skilled guitarist “he makes the thing talk".
Of recent Paul has been working with Jeannie Lowe who provides “emotive harmonies”. Previously Jennie has toured extensively with Gentle Giant's Kerry Minnear. Paul 'n' Jeannie perform their own brand of modern country/blues.

Because of the popularity of HUM Gospel Choir and the size of anticipated crowd it is highly recommended that you arrive at the venue early in order to secure a seat and to allow time to order your coffee and/or food.
Food will be served from 6.45pm. On the menu will be Christmas Baps - turkey, bacon, sausages, stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce all smothered in gravy! Plus a veggie alternative.

In November Acoustic Nights @ The Barn are very privileged to host the very talented Northern Irish singer-songwriter Ruth Trimble.
Since releasing her first album, 'Things I Want To Say', in 2012, Ruth Trimble has been touring the UK and Ireland, supporting the likes of Clannad, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Olivia Newton John!
It was the title track of her Christmas release in 2013, 'Each Christmas Till Then', which got the attention of BBC Radio2's Bob Harris and finally intr...oduced her music to a bigger radio audience. Since then she has completed two headline solo tours of UK and Ireland and is gathering fans as she goes.
In 2016 Ruth released her third album 'Before The Rain', a body of work which has been getting extensive radio play and attention nationwide.

In October we're excited to host on tour in the UK from Italy singer-songwriter Aurora D’Amico. “She is an amazing performer”
Aurora D’Amico is a singer-songwriter who lives in Palermo, Italy. She writes, plays and sings her own stories, and her music can really touch your heart. Under the influence of American and English songwriters (Norah Jones, Lucy Rose, John Mayer, Ben Howard, etc.) Aurora recorded her first EP Barefoot in England and released it in Italy in 2016.
A yea...r after that, she was back in the studio recording her first LP So Many Things, as a 800A Records artist. Her music is a canvass of memories, thoughts, and hopes, written in different countries – Italy, England, USA and on planes in between.
Acoustic vibes, simple harmonies, and contemporary sounds merge all together and they bring up different aspects of Aurora’s personality – from a fragile human being, to a powerful guitar player. In 2016 Aurora was endorsed by the famous Fender guitar company.
