Acquiesce Consulting Limited ("ACL"), formed by Peter Sibthorpe in 2001, is a provider of regulatory compliance consulting services to the financial services sector. Whilst run on a sole practitioner basis, ACL is able to draw upon the expertise of a network of like-minded individuals to provide full coverage of all your regulatory compliance needs plus a wide range of complementary services including lawyers, actuaries, financial and HR experts all of whom specialise in financial services and have held positions at executive director level either within financial services providers or with regulators. Because of this we can compete with the Big 4 accounting firms on cost and service. We will never send junior staff to complete the work and ask experts to validate it remotely and our preference is always to work on the client's premises. Whilst we operate in the interim space, we recognise ‘consultant risk'. That is, the risk that expertise leaves when the consultant leaves. To mitigate this we work closely with your employees to transfer knowledge. We are also frequently asked to assist with the drafting of job descriptions and the selection and recruitment of permanent employees.
