Yet it is an industry with surprisingly little in the way of formal professional monitoring. ACRA, the Association of Company Registration Agents, was established to encourage high standards amongst its member agents and to act as an open forum and lobbying platform for the industry as a whole. As the only recognised trade association for company registration, ACRA works closely with various Government departments including Companies House, HM Treasury, BEIS, and HMRC. Our members incorporate almost half of of all UK company registrations carried out in the private sector and they are bound by the ACRA Code of Conduct. Membership of ACRA acts an endorsement of the quality of the service our members provide. In turn, their clients can have confidence that they are dealing with people they can trust.
