We use Acres Way several times a year for our Golden Retriever and they are always helpful and welcoming. They even waited for us after closing time the other day when we got delayed in a horrendous traffic jam. So would definitely recommend.

We popped along to in my husbands words "just look". Unbeknown to him I had other ideas. Took the beautiful NALA for a walk and she did all the hard work for me. He fell in love with her and we took her home. The staff have been amazing, very supportive, advice as and when needed. I can not thank them enough for our beautiful girl.

We often ask Acres Way to look after our dog, Lucy the Lurcher when we are away from home.

She is always very happy to be going 'on holiday' there.

We got her from Acres Way as a rescued dog about 4 years ago and she is a really lovely dog.

We can't fault Acres Way on their service and care.

We would recommend them to anyone, and often do!

We found " Lucky " by chance here , we were looking for a smaller dog but the staff recommended we take him for a walk up the lane , what a fantastic dog , no pulling or barking at other dogs and very friendly . We've had him just over a year now and we couldn't have wished for a better dog , he's brilliant , loves his walks in the forest chasing squirrels and birds and to be honest he gets us out and about for excersize , and found some great places to walk which we would never have found without him , he's certainly changed our lives for the better.

We adopted our beautiful Shih Tzu puppy from Acres Way after they rescued her when she was abandoned in a shopping trolley at just 4 weeks old. They gave her around the clock care and nursed her back to health. They then discovered that she had a hernia and she underwent surgery which Acres Way paid for in full. We were then fortunate enough to adopt her and Acres Way could not have been more helpful. They chipped and registered her, gave us some of the special food she was on, some of the toys she liked playing with and the blanket she was sleeping on so that she had something familiar in her new home as she was so young. They made adopting our first puppy so easy and I cannot thank them enough!

This time last year we adopted Jenson (Anthony)! He was skinny and hated the kennels! NOW he is a loving dog who gets on well with our 4 cats! Loves our little girl, loves cuddles and kisses, takes up space on the sofa! Has a brill relationship with my autistic son! He chases balls, bubbles and loves to destroy empty plastic bottles! He is my boy! Thank you for our dog! Love him lots xxxx

The staff at Acres Way are caring and committed to providing a safe place for dogs in need of rehoming. The dogs are very well looked after and it is very evident that everyone is passionate about what they do. I adopted my handsome spoilt dog a few weeks ago. He has made such an impact on my life he is loved very much. Thank you Acres Way for taking him in and giving me the opportunity to adopt him.

Pepper and Bertie were really well looked after by Acres Way Kennels.I found every member of staff that I met friendly and caring. They were kind enough to give my daughter a mid holiday update and photos of them playing in the outside enclosure. Not sure pepper wanted to come home by the way she was fussing the staff goodbye. It was their first time away and wouldn’t even know they have been away, no stress,no worries. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you all so much for looking after them and putting up with Berties fussy eating and nervousness

Thank you once again.

Our 8 month old Puppy Horace needed to go into Kennels for two weeks and we were very nervous about how we would react having never been in a Kennel before. The staff were really helpful and friendly and put us completely at ease, Horace had an amazing time his first week there and was a bit gutted to be picked up at the weekend. When he was dropped off again on the Monday he pretty much jumped out the car to get to his new friends and was clearly very excited to be back.

Would really recommend as a safe and friendly place for your dog to stay!

Myself and my husband had been thinking for some time about rescuing a dog.

We got a friendly response from our email asking if we can pop along which we did after Christmas with our children.

We met with a little staffie girl called Pam.

We took her for a walk then returned to take her out again the following week then took her home for a weeks trial.

The sweet quiet little girl we met was a crazy fruit bat for about 2 days lol but has settled down extremely well she is fabulous with our children and very loving always giving kisses and cuddles.

We fell in love with her and adopted her after the week was up, she is now called Bella and part of the family. The staff at acres way are so friendly and helpful, we are glad we found you thank you

My dog (max the husky) loves staying here so much (he tries to jump out of the car before we've even opened the door when we arrive) he comes home happy, loved and well fed. The people are very caring and obviously love all the animals here. Thank you for taking care of max :)

My boyfriend and I came here yesterday to walk some doggos, the staff were really friendly and helpful and knew all about the personalities of the dogs we were walking. The dogs that we walked were great on the lead and sooo cute. Will be going back next week to get my doggy fix and donate some food 😊

My 11 year old daughter & I went along to volunteer & walk some of the dogs who need homes. We chose the dogs and the staff were really lovely letting us walk them for however long we liked. We walked Arnie, Phyllis and Cooper (I held lead Of big dogs). All three dogs were very well behaved! As we can't have a dog of our own, this was a perfect way to get our 'doggie fix'. We'd love to come back and help again, Amanda & Megan x

Just been to collect Eddie from Acres Way Kennels where he was on his holidays! To be honest, I think he was disappointed in coming home with us!

Massive thank you to everyone who looked after him. The staff at Acres Way go to so much trouble to look after all the dogs in their care, whether it be boarding or rehoming.

I would 100% recommend the kennels for your dogs.

Eddie was in great shape and has behaved himself impeccably since being home! Plus, thanks to Tom who made sure he got his ear medication everyday he was there.

Eddie has told us he wants to go back so I guess that means another holiday for us too!

Daisy and Bella my Deerhounds were really well looked after by Acres Way Kennels.Everyone is really friendly and caring. They were kind enough to give my daughter a mid hol update and photos of them playing in the snow ! I wouldn't even know my girls have been away, no stress,no worries. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you all so much for looking after them and putting up with their finicky eating.( ps . What shampoo did you use as they came home smelling amazing !!)

Can all the people that are given poor reviews actually stop and think for a minute if they have all the facts! Have you ever used the kennels? Do you know about the hundreds of poorly treated animals they rescue each month and when people are irresponsible enough to let their dog escape a fine is due...not to acres way but the council so check your facts! You're actions are only going to impact on the dogs they're trying to save!
