What a lovely company to work for! They always make sure that the artist/performer is happy, comfortable, safe and can give the best performance they can. Reliable with quick communication. You can really see that they are passionate about the artist having a great experience as well as the client/audience. They're great people and I would always look forward to working with them again!

Thank you AME for a great experience!

We weren’t sure what we were expecting today at Knockhatch. The little one loves Alice in Wonderland so we chose Knockhatch over Drusillas today and we bought the tickets for Alice Circus Adventures. We certainly were not disappointed!

We enjoyed making balloon animals and the interaction with the characters in the lead up to the show was brilliant.

Made to feel very welcome and part of the show. Each character incredibly talented and skilled. A fine line between being on edge in a marquee of straw whilst someone is play with fire and utterly amazed and bewildered by tricks.

Thanks for including Andrew in your show!

Stunning face painting at a bargain price too!

What a fabulous job you do. We would absolutely book you guys for parties or events if we didn’t live 200 miles away!

User

We visited the alice in wonderland adventures at knockhatch today and was thoroughly impressed by it. The actors are all brilliant and engage so well with everyone, we enjoyed it all

User

We saw them at Knockhatch doing Alice Circus Adventures on Sunday. They were all so funny and my son loved it so much that we have come back again today! Definitely worth seeing. Thank you all.

User

We had so much fun today at wonderland. My daughter loved every minute of the show and the characters were very entertaining and funny, was laughing the whole way through, especially the mad hatter! Loved it, great day. Thanks so much! X

We asked Renato to organise a staff / family event for the Savoir Faire Accounting team to thank them for their hard work in January. We had 17 in the group ranging from age 9 to adults. We had a choice of activities, some learnt how to do magic tricks, some to model balloons and some to walk a tightrope.

The cost of the event was reasonable and the main comment that I have had back from attendees is "it was fun" and "great to try something completely new"

Thank you Renato and team

User

We (the little lad I work with and I) chose to visit Knockhatch on 4th April because Alice Circus Adventures were there. Nathan has complex needs and is a wheelchair user and although we joined in with a craft activity, he most enjoyed the interaction with all the cast particularly the Mad Hatter and Alice. Thank you for being inclusive to all and giving him a special experience too (I took photos which his Parents are happy for me to share...)

User

Today we visited Knockhatch especially for Alice as Phoebe loves it and it was simply amazing! Everyone was fantastic and I have a very happy little lady! Who was in fact very sad because she had to leave you all!!

Thankyou for such a brilliant day and great entertainment!

The team made the pirates and mermaid day at Groombridge great fun when we visited over half term with our grandchildren, from when we arrived at 10am until leaving late afternoon they all stayed in character - in the show and storytelling sessions as well as being happy to have their photos taken . Thanks

User

The gentlemen we met today at Groombridge Place were the consummate professionals despite unfortunately being verbally and, in one case we witnessed, physically abused by younger visitors with no manners or respect. They really made the start and duration of our visit enjoyable and would love to see them again. Thank you all.

Show review by Finley (Age 11)

On Friday 6th November Me, Finley Wells, went to Deadly sins of our time with a VIP Ticket. We got to sit on the side with a table and nuts. Even though we were at the side I still felt I was at the front because the performers were spinning a lot and the lighting was from all angles.

There was scaffolding everywhere and the stage was were the seating was. It was very dark in there and I could see people just standing very still. Then a Man came on, the ringmaster, he was pale and dressed in a trench coat and was very mysterious, he said he had created these things (performers). He was my favourite character.

Then the performances began they were Aerial Circus and Dance but not like traditional circus (in a good way). First was someone with the silks who did a performance about damage to the earth. I thought this was pretty cool.

Second was my Mum on the hoop, her performance was about anger. Her song was Janine’s got a gun and in the routine she shot someone with a fake gun whilst she was upside down.

There were lots of hoop performances, as well as Straps and Trapeze, most were solos but there were some duo’s and a dance with 4 people.

There was one really interesting performance with a thing that looks like a moon. She used the moon to do hoop moves and she was very flexible and did splits on the moon.

My favorite performance was a hoop one by a person called Brett. He was dressed in white unlike the other characters who were in black and red. His performance was slow and relaxed showing that he was very skilled and strong. He did a lot of move that I had not seen before.

I was a bit confused about the cats and dogs dancing in a show about sins but I enjoyed the show a lot. It was very good and I recommend it to people who anyone who enjoys the theatre even if they have never seen circus before or don’t usually like circus.

Saw Acting Moon Events at Groombridge Place earlier today with Ethan the Wizard and Steve the apprentice along with the two troublesome goblins. They greeted us at the gates and interacted really well with the children (we were waiting for one more party to arrive) and told us about the itinerary. We quickly headed to their magic trick show which was greatly received by the children and very funny for adults as well!

After a little walk around we met up with them later as they finished their second show and we headed out to listen to their story time.

They made the day amazing and it was a pleasure chatting with them after. I just now have to stop my children from shouting "DISAPPEAR!" at me all the time!

User

My husband, myself and our two children saw these guys at Knockhatch and we didn’t know what to expect but we absolutely loved their production of Alice In Wonderland. They were so funny and the activities before were great not to mention the awesome magic tricks with “Hatter” I totally recommend Acting Moon Events and hope they will do more stuff like this in the future.

User

My family and friends saw three acting moon adventurers at wild Groombridge Place over half term.

The performers really made our day special, from the moment we arrived. We pulled up to the entrance in our car full of trapped children and tired parents and the performers leapt in front of the car, making us all laugh and fully engage with our arrival, rather than just muddling along re-packing bags and grumbling. It made the day an exciting adventure from the start.

We meandered down a river on a boat looking at snakes and crocodiles and then saw the performers again, walking along the towpath. They called out to us all and we know there was more fun in store. When we got off the boat we were immediately drawn in to a performance, largely based on audience interaction and it was clear that these performers really know how to build a rapport with all ages and skillfully handle their volunteers. We all stayed to hear the story and loved the physical comedy, especially the aeroplane, and the clever mix of vibrant improvisation and gentle audience interaction which made us all feel part of the performance.

I was impressed that the performers managed to stay in character all day, and were cheerful and friendly whenever we bumped into them. They were a great addition to Groombridge and really made us smile.

Animarum the most spectacular and original in everyway from start to finish. It's totally mesmerising to see and you will be left speechless. It's creative and totally worth getting a uk tour and maybe even made bigger for bigger venues across the uk and even the world. Renato and his team have smashed it again

Acting Moon Events are a really good organisation to work for. They ensure all the necessary questions/points are answered first, to avoid time wasting and to ensure you are suitable for the job. They spend time with new members of cast, explaining what exactly is going to happen and when, so it is obvious what is expected. The other actors are also very friendly and very pleasant to work with. The organisation are also very good at organising perks for staff members, such as complimentary food and beverages and they remember and understand dietry requirements effectively. They also were very understanding about my lack of transport, and paid me precisely what was agreed within 24 hours of me completing the work.
