In 2017 we launched a project to tackle loneliness and isolation amongst older people with hearing loss and tinnitus.
After achieving ground-breaking success and reach in a range of communities and health services across the UK, our innovative 'Hear to Inform and Connect' project will come to an end in March.
The results and evaluation will help us grow our existing information services to reach even more people who have little access to information and services.
... Huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for helping make this possible.

Kingston University has developed new guidance to help employees and their managers know what to say and do when they go off sick with a hearing condition and return to work.
The toolkit covers six simple steps and includes email templates, checklists and a range of exercises.
Before the toolkit is launched, the team at Kingston University are looking for feedback to make sure it is user-friendly. The feedback will remain anonymous. Contact Alice Sinclair if you can help: a.sinclair@kingston.ac.uk

Laura James, 30, an audiologist from Leeds, has severe hearing loss and constant tinnitus, but years of therapy and practise have taught her the best ways to manage the condition.

We have teamed up with British Tinnitus Association to co-fund new research into tinnitus!
We want universities to apply with proposals for research which will increase our understanding of the causes of tinnitus, improve its diagnosis, or advance the development of treatments.
