We can't wait to get our hands dirty with some forestry work, natural clay pottery and enjoy some time by the riverside all washed down with a campfire and bbq.
The cost of this wonderful overnight e...vent is £50 per person. You will need a sleeping bag and roll matt for this wonderful outdoor event tackling your nature deficit. Minimum age is 16 and those under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Activators, welcome to Sunday Club.
Were walking Holcombe Moor 10am 2 BOOT (5/6 miles) Our route will start from the Military training camp where the popular TV series from the 80's and 90's “The Krypton Factor”, brought its contestants to complete the famous assault course!
... Once we emerge out of the valley we will be on the upper moorlands of Holcombe Moor on the summit of Bull Hill with stunning views to include, Knowl Hill, Pendle Hill, and Darwen Tower.
Please note that the route is dog friendly, Our meeting place to start this walk from is; Spen Leach Lane, Hawkshaw, Bury BL84JJ
The walk is FREE however any donations would be greatly appreciated. Its a family walk, however, we wouldn't recommend bringing children under 10 unless they are used to covering this distance.

Would just like to say a Big Thank you to all Members of the Activate team,thoroughly enjoyed Our First outing with them. We did Pen-Y-Ghent, i am actually surprised i managed it as im not the fittest of people,and the conditions were,nt the best due to snow, but with their Help and encouragement it totally motivated both myself and my Husband to do this.All the other walkers were so friendly too it made it one of the best Days out,Again thank you. Will definitely be doing more walks with Activate Team,and also Recommending to Friends and Family. The great out doors ,What more can i say :)

What can I say..these guys are really really good at what they do for people...fun and professional..and I would recommend you pass on to other folk who are thinking of taking up some activities..you won't be disappointed about there knowledge of our beautiful mountains in our green and pleasant land

Well, what can I say !!



We have just done our first walk (Certainly won't be our last), with the 'Activate' team.



The first thing that struck us was the professionalism of the team. We were made to feel instantly welcome via introductions to all the members, then a run-down of the walk ahead and where it would be most challenging, etc etc.....



Both my wife and her friend were very nervous before the walk, as my wife has severe sciatica and both were concerned that their fitness levels might not see them through, and that they would be left behind at the back.



Wrong on both counts .... John and the other guides took turns in walking with them both, ensuring the pace was right for them and that they made it to the very end.



The whole group were very friendly and I think we chatted with most of them throughout the walk, with some of them telling us how they were 'at the back' when they first started and how they grew in confidence and fitness through the 'Activate' team.



Walk finished, a quick coffee shared at the local hostelry and it was job done for them. for today.



We would highly recommend this team for both novice and seasoned walkers alike. These guys know their stuff, and have all the emergency medical aid stuff that they carry around with them as well. Very friendly, very inclusive, very impressed.

Walked Ingleborough with the Activate team today. Great guys, looked after the whole group. If your thinking of taking up walking but don't have the confidence with the routes or the conditions try a few with these guys first. Booking the 3 peaks challenge this week. Thanks Graham, Wayne and John.

Sunset up Snowden was one of the best things I've done in a while. Going up in the sunshine was brilliant, but coming down in the dark was awesome. Everyone felt totally safe and taken care of, the whole atmosphere was excellent. Will definately do something with these guys again... Highly recommended. Thanks lads.

My first time out with this group and I couldn't of asked for a better group. Everyone really friendly and made you feel welcome.

The walk was Pen-Y-Ghent and was a very enjoyable morning.

My first 4 mile walk with the Monday Club. Really enjoyed the evening, lovely group of people!! Would recommend - I went on my own, all levels of walkers. Will be back for more- thank you!

Just returned from the Harter fell weekend great experience ,the team were very professional but still welcoming and friendly and I soon felt part of the team and the fireside quiz was good laugh and topped the day off .Great for all abilities I am looking forward to the next one.

Just had an amazing day climbing Scarfell with the Activate team. Everyone was extremely friendly and chatty, can’t wait for the next one. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone at any level.

Just had a Brilliant couple of days away climbing Ben Nevis with the Activate team. The team spirit, motivation, and knowledge you get from these guys is second to non. I’ve been out with these guys today on my first Activate experience. Wow wow wow, a very professional, friendly and clearly experienced bunch of people. I can not recommend them highly enough. I arrived not knowing anyone in the group and was instantly welcomed into the group by all, so so friendly. I can’t wait to walk out with these guys in June. If you need an introduction to the outdoors want to challenge yourself or simply get involved with like minded people, then these are the guys to do it with. Well organised and planned with a wealth of experience conveyed in a friendly informative manner, no matter you're ability or worries you'll be looked after..I've just spent a week away to take on the west Highland way culminating in conquering Ben Nevis, loved every minute every step of the way, can't thank the guys at activate enough for getting me from sofa to summit..

Had a fantastic day with the group on Striding Edge and Helvellyn. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The transport is great and comfortable. Fantastic way to access some experiences that you might not be able to do on your own. I look forward to my next outing with them x

Did our first walk with the Activate team yesterday and what a challenge. Was made to feel very welcome on Arrival was introduced to the instructors who all look the part we both felt very safe with there knowledge and experience looking forward to the Y3P now at the end of April ��
