Active Pet Veterinary Rehabilitation, Acupuncture & Hydrotherapy

Astro has been coming to Active Pet to see Phillipa since August 2017. Back in May he had a collision with another dog and damaged his right hind leg various treatments and rest didn't help and he was still lame. After the very thorough initial consultation, Phillipa decided to treat Astro with laser and Acupuncture.
We have had weekly sessions and now we are beginning to see some pleasing results. He is no longer lame and he is walking straight.
Astro loves coming to see Phillipa and she is always very welcoming. She always tells me that she is at the end of the phone if I have any questions regarding his exercises or any problems.
This week I thought that we had got a set back with Astro and I rang Active Pets for some advice. He was immediately booked in for Phillipa to look at, luckily it was a false alarm but it so nice to know that Active Pets are just a phone call away. I look forward to Phillipa's continued support and treatment with Astro.

Fantastic rehab venue for my much loved but shy Bulgarian rescue dog with very dodgy hips. Can not recommend highly enough, very sensitive handling of both dog and owner. Alby will need help all his life so very reassuring to have Active Pets helping and guiding us all the way. Thank you

Having seen 3 vets, Philippa was the only one to recognise some grating in my dog's hip 8 months post op. Although it was not what I wanted to hear, she advised that I get further X-rays done to diagnose the problem before she proceeded with treatment which may aggravate the problem. She was absolutely correct.
We are now post second surgery and have just started rehab physio. Philippa's instructions are clear, followed up by e mail explanation, and my pup enjoys most of them. I have great confidence that my pup will be back to her usual very active self in due course! Thank you! I would highly recommend. Ann

Highly recommend Active Pets as they have done an excellent job of rehabilitating our 12 year old golden retriever Archie and given him a new lease of life.

I have been taking my 9 year old cocker spaniel (Lily) to Active Pets since July 2015, on the recommendation of my vet. Lily suffers from arthritis in her elbow and she has been having hydrotherapy, laser treatment and has an exercise program to carry out at home.

Over the summer Lily could barely manage a 5 minute walk and we thought her pheasant chasing days were over. In December we were back to our regular walks, albeit with Lily on her lead (too many temptations in the woods!).
