About Actively Stronger
Actively Stronger specialises in inclusive, friendly and judgement free group exercise classes suitable for all abilities. We offer high impact classes, low impact beginners fitness yoga and a range of running courses.
Actively Stronger Description
Actively Stronger was created to promote the benefits of cross training, alongside running. Whether youβre just getting started or have been running for a while, adding in cross training sessions, that utilise all of your key muscle groups, will not only help your running technique, but strengthen your body and improve your overall performance.
Actively Stronger combines weekly group running sessions, alongside two dedicated Personal Trainer led workouts that will keep things fresh and stop you getting bored, whilst also helping to prevent injury by correcting muscular inbalances.

... β’ Seated chair π β’ Rise and fold π€ β’ Thoracic rotation π β’ Walk out with your hands into plank π β’ Push into down facing β¬οΈ β’ Back into child's pose πΆπ» β’ Down facing β¬οΈ β’ Low impact tricep dip β¬οΈ β’ Into up facing β¬οΈ β’ Push back to down facing β¬οΈ β’ Into a plank π β’ Step into thoracic rotation with prayer hands π

I have tried and tested many different exercise groups over the years and this is by far the best. Fran is a great motivator and her sessions are both enjoyable and varied, so you canβt get comfortable knowing whatβs coming! The group are great and always encouraging each other. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to try something new, get fit or fitter and have fun at the same time. οΏ½

Fran is awesome! Went to fitness yoga tonight and really really enjoyed myself! Fran is a brilliant instructor and makes you feel really welcome and comfortable in class while adapting the moves if you'd like to make them harder or easier. Although Fran is family I can honestly say she is excellent at what she does and would happily recommend her classes! Wish I'd of gone sooner but now looking forward to attending again. Thanks Fran!!
