Acton Banks Healthcare is a specialist care & nursing agency which was established in 2006 with the intention of raising the bar within the healthcare profession. We specialise in both temporary and permanent assignments across the UK and overseas.

Our aim is to always deliver the right candidate and to provide a continuity of service to our clients and service users.

Serviced locally our West Midlands office based in Wolverhampton afford clients 24 hour staffing cover, severn days a week in placing registered nurses, RGNs, RMNs RNLDs, support workers and healthcare assistants around the clock.

Acton Banks supports the code of the Nursing and Midwifery council, which exists to safeguard the health and well being of the public. Our thorough vetting procedures ensure that we only register competent medical professionals.

We are putting on a training course in MAPA
MAPA is an in-depth course for challenging behaviour within care homes & rehabilitation centres.
This course will teach you all the health & safety regulations & the correct restraint holds and Breakaways for residents with challenging behaviour.
... Having this course on your profile will ensure that you booked as a priority candidate for the homes that have got residents with challenging behaviour.
It will be an extremely beneficial skill for you to have as many homes & centres admit residents with challenging behaviour.
The course will take place at our office in Wolverhampton between the hours of 9am-4pm.
It is a 2 day training course & will take place on Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th October.
You must be available for both days.
To book a place on the course we require a £50 deposit which can be paid by card or cash. Once you have attended the course the £50 will be refunded.
Failure to attend the course will result in you losing your deposit. If you cancel the course with less than 48 hours notice you will lose the deposit.
As this is provided by Acton Banks and used for our clients you will not receive a certificate at the end of the course.
