Acton Field Camping Site

Love it here. Great views over Swanage and The Isle of Wight. They now have electric hook up. Very clean facilities.

Lovely campsite, relaxed and friendly. We stayed over bank holiday weekend and there was someone cleaning the bathrooms regularly during the busiest times. Very reasonably priced and great value for money.

The Purbecks are probably my favourite place in England, and this is my favourite camp site. Huge field, great location (lovely 45 min walk across the fields to the square and compass pub), and very relaxed atmosphere. Facilities are basic but very clean and showers are hot and take 20p pieces (which simply serves to keep the queue down) so take a handful. It's a limited licence so check they are open to the public before travelling.
