Actors Film Lab Description
In this 2 week training programme, we will help you to develop your skills as an actor, offering you exposure and a chance to work with leading industry actors and casting directors. You will also be guaranteed a part in a short film shot by a professional crew in RED 4K.

From 1st November this year, we are running our next Actors Film Lab.
This is a unique training lab for actors who want to fast track their career to feature films by participating in a short film. This is the only course of its kind in the UK.
After the 8th training session, we shoot on location a short film that will be premiered at BAFTA, and released to film festivals worldwide. Due to the nature of this intensive course, the class will be limited to 20 students only.
We are offering the course at a discounted price of £1250 (previously £2000), which includes:
- Eight intensive all day practical workshops (10-6) at the Orassy Kendron Spa
- All accommodation, travel and food for the 2 day location shoot
- All written and recorded material, including highlights DVD of workshop
- Training by a Movement Master, which will benefit you for the rest of your life!
- Exposure to and training with leading industry guests including Casting Directors and high profile Film Actors
- Invites for friends and family at BAFTA premiere, screened to an industry audience

The short film will be written and directed by Benjamin D Johns, who has had his short films viewed at more than 200 festivals worldwide.
He produced BAFTA nominated “Candy Bar Kid”, wrote and directed award winning critically acclaimed “Traffic Warden” and “Old Harry” starring Robert Hardy.
In 2010, he produced and directed “A Party Political Broadcast by the Poetry Party” starring Hugh Bonneville and recently “Lakeland Falls, ” produced by the first Actors Film Lab.
From 2006-2009 he taught at Staffordshire University on the award winning BA Hons in Media and Film Production, where he was the youngest Senior Lecturer in the faculty.
He is currently in post-production on his feature film “Traveller, ” a gritty British drama set in the harsh world of gypsies. The film will be released in cinemas in the summer of 2012: http://www. imdb.com/title /tt2343807 /

During the training labs, we are inviting some industry professionals to share their experience with you, and watch you develop. These guests include:
