A very fair proffesional service. John came out to review my roof, gave me a price, when it could be done and what to expect during the whole procedure. The whole roof was inspected and honesty was given as I was advised my roof was in good condition. I now have a very good job completed with a 10 year guarantee. The team also sub contracted the scaffolding and this was erected very proffesionaly and taken down within the advised completion time.

Everything organised quickly and efficiently from scaffolding to actual work. All cleaned up afterwards. Not the cheapest but quality work. Can't be too careful with roof work

We waited in for 4 hours and when they finally came to give a 'free' quote they were very rude and wanted £180+vat per hour just to give the quote, and accusing us of not even wanting to get the work done and just wasting their time not even 30 seconds after they arrived. The contractor said sort it with the office, despite already telling them why we wanted the quote and no mention of charging at all until they arrived. When we rang the office just fobbed off and promise to call back which never happened.

Promised a lot but failed in every aspect of the work which took nearly four months to complete a simple roofing repair and they still haven't apologised. If you want a good job doing by genuine professionals take your business elsewhere.

Adam Askey were happy to come and recommend work on our roof for a leak that turned out not to be due to the roof . However the scaffolders they used damaged our neighbours property and after 12 weeks there is still no resolution to this issue despite numerous phone calls and written correspondence . Think twice about using this firm. They will take your money but do not address outstanding issues

We used Adam Askey to repair our leaking roof and they gave us excellent service. Their front man David was extremely helpful and attentive, overseeing everything. He took before and after photos which were very helpful in checking that the job had been done to the required standard. The fact that there is a proper contract makes them stand out from other roofers. The area round where they were working was left spick and span.

More recently David came again after a disastrous piece of work by another roofer. Without charging us a penny, he talked through with us all the things that had been done badly and took photos for us to use in evidence.

I cannot recommend Adam Askey highly enough. Not the cheapest but a firm you can trust and that does quality work.

Had a door-to-door call after Storm Doris as we had lost a crest piece and tile from our roof so thought it worth getting a quote. Sales chap David was very efficient and friendly and the work was fitted in relatively quickly. The two roofers, although given the wrong images so didn't have the correct tile to start with, returned just a short time later and carried out the work quickly and efficiently.

I contacted Adam Askey to request a flat roof repair. I was recommended a new rubber roof. I was not familiar with rubber roofs and asked for a description and example. The salesman said 'I don't know what to say!' several times, and when I insisted on more information he promised to get back to me.
After several days I called him again and he said 'I forgot'.
After complaining I was put on to another person who was extremely good and brought an example along to show me.
Halfway through the work, on a Friday afternoon, I was told by the roofers that they would return first thing on the following Monday morning.
They did not.
After calls to the head office they arrived at 1pm.
I had a serious hospital appointment on Tuesday morning, had it been on Monday we should have had to go and there would have been no access or electricity for the roofers.
Apparently the Operations Admin. told the roofers to go elsewhere, but did not have the courtesy to tell us.
Communications at Adam Askey Operations management is lamentable. The office support staff have to chase up behind them to try and help the customer as much as they can.
So office support staff and roofers are very good, Operations staff are very poor.

All this despite the fact that I am a previous customer.
*Update*
Following on from the above review I should like to point out that I had reason to report a minor matter for repair on the 4th April 2017.
Karen the Office Manager arranged a prompt the repair the same morning. This was very good customer service.
Also credit where it is due, Karen allocated Dan the Installation Manager to arrange the flat roof installation which he did very well.
Barbara from Office Support was very helpful in improving communications within Adam Askey, and Stuart and Daniel the roofers did an excellent job.

Superb service from start to finish. Needed a lot of work doing to my roof but Adam Askey were efficient and professional throughout with clear explanations of what needed doing and all work being completed to a very high standard and quickly too. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

We called Adam Askey as we believed we had a problem with our gutters. A gentleman called Chris came to our property to assess the guttering and give us a quote. It turned out that some of the guttering had actually just come away from the building. Chris fixed this while he was up there and said due to the size of the job, we wouldn't be charged. As a young couple, just after Christmas, this was hugely appreciated. Professional and friendly service. Would recommend!

As your such a large company with a well know name I trusted that a good job would be done. When roofers arrived they would have started on my flat roof at the front had I not of said anything. I showed them to roof at back which was the roof I needed work to be carried out on. They started on it throwing all the rubbish on to rubble bags which did not cover my newly layed lawn (and the fact that I have children who are regularly playing outside I was not happy that the possibility of sharp bits being amongst the grass). I also had to make sure they were ripping the both layers of boarding and felt out as a previous bodge job had left us in a mess! Which they were unaware of and can only assume that they would of left it had I not told them it needed removing. They left something on my lawn which also killed patches of my grass. They obviously had not planned to move rubbish as I had not heard anything and having kids I wanted it moved so the day after WE moved it. They have been terrible to get hold of anyone and on numerous occasions I've been told I'd be called back and heard nothing for days! Yes they did rectify what needed to be fixed and they did a good job of the roof, everything around it has been terrible. And after been told there would be some discount £50 is ridiculous as we've done a days work clearing your mess and I'm sure they going day rate for your roofer is more than that?! I'm utterly disgusted and would not be recommending you to anyone!
