Adapt Qualifications Description
ADAPT provides the industry benchmark for parkour instruction, and has been formulated over several years by many of the founding figures and most experienced instructors of the discipline of parkour. It is recognized as a European vocational qualification and is part of the UKCC and QCF framework, endorsed and supported by the Youth Sports Trust (YST), the Association for Physical Education (afPE) and Sport England.
To receive an ADAPT Instructor Qualification is to be approved to teach the discipline of parkour /l’art du deplacement by the foremost practitioners and teachers in the world, including the original Yamakasi and the traceurs from Lisses, Paris - the birthplace of parkour.

Tutor Riccardo ‘Saiu’ Calli will be leading the next ADAPT Level 1 Coach Certification in Italy this weekend, with Senior Tutor also Chris Keighley flying over from the UK.
Saiu is one of the leading practitioners of the Italian parkour community and a senior coach at Parkour Wave, and has been tutoring ADAPT courses for several years, sharing his extensive experience and knowledge with new generations of coaches.
Our courses in Italy are run in conjunction with sports author...ity UISP and delivered by an incredible tutor group based in Italy, with Delivery Centre Parkour Wave.

Senior Tutor Dan Edwardes will be delivering the next UK ADAPT Level 2 Coach Certification, happening June 17-21 in London.
Dan has lead parkour coach education courses worldwide since they began back in 2008, and therefore brings a vast reservoir of both coaching and parkour experience to the programme.
The ADAPT Level 2 is an intensive week-long immersion into the theories, methods and science of movement coaching, as well as an in-depth look at the philosophies, principle...s and values of parkour. This training course is the preparation for the Level 2 Assessments which must be completed within 2 years of completing the course.
