The Adept Living Foundation CIC (ALF CIC) excel at Peer Support provision and providing supervision for those delivering Peer Support in our communities. ALF's mission is to drive up standards of Peer Support by remaining at the forefront, conducting our own community research, and leading by example. ALF provide high quality support to charities, the public sector, and community organisations, to improve the way in which they serve their beneficiaries, particularly those who suffer with emotional distress, are struggling financially, may be socially excluded, and are unable to move forward successfully in their lives. In addition to working with clients in direct need, supervising peer support mentors, and advising organisations, ALF supervise and support caring frontline staff such as social workers, nurses, and police, with value for money counselling. ALF have fully trained Peer Confidants, Peer Mentors, Peer Group Coaches, and Peer Trainers, and we know that it is vital that Peers are sufficiently trained and supervised in order that they can sustain their own health, and be of the greatest benefit to those more vulnerable within their communities. Leading by example, ALF peer staff facilitate fortnightly Poppins throughout Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire which act as resource hubs within the local community for those needing support, their carers, and those volunteering or giving support themselves, by demonstrating high quality Peer Support in Action. ALF can also bespoke programmes for individuals via our training partners and learning collectives which provide a platform for ALF clients to learn and hone their Peer Support skills to a high level, as well as taking part in Peer Support related CPD. ALF's training partners deliver an accredited Peer Training programme enabling individuals to become qualified Peer Support Workers, Peer Mentors, Peer Coaches, and Peer Trainers.
