Local charity run nursery providing early years education and care for children over 2 years old.
Adlington Community Nursery Description
Welcome to our nursery
Our Nursery has been established for over 35 Years and we aim to provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age. We offer flexible 3 hour sessions to suit the needs of each individual family. We provide a safe and friendly environment to allow children to learn and develop through play.
Our setting aims to: work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop; add to the life and well-being of the local community and offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
Reviews
A big thank you to Cheeky Monkeys for their kind donation for our Christmas raffle.
The children are enjoying our new book area. A Book area is a great way for children to access early reading skills and promote literacy development. Books encourage language development and can extend a childโs vocabulary skills offering them the opportunity to experience new words and put them into context. Early reading also offers children the opportunity to develop and build imaginative skills and emotional development
***Reminder***
Wear your Christmas jumper to nursery on Friday 13th December ๐

Over the last two evenings all staff have been refreshing their paediatric first aid.
The children have been celebrating โNational Hello Day, by learning different ways of saying hello, then drawing round our hands, and writing who we want to say hello to.
Tickets are going very fast! We only have 5 left!! This is a ticket only event.
Toddler drawing activities need to be fun and inviting and this drawing with cars activity is just that. The children enjoyed making circles and lines, giving meanings to marks.
Our next mission is to raise some money to help us purchase some new resources for the children. To help us do this we will be holding our annual Family Night on 23rd November. We hope you can all join us. We would like to kindly ask for your generosity once again for donations of Chocolates and/or a bottle for our Tombola stalls, to help us fund a worthwhile project. Thank you Nursery Staff ๐
Tickets are now on sale at nursery. Everyone is welcome to attend.
We still have a few tickets available. Please get in touch ASAP if you would like one.

Today we have โLoose Partsโ playdough. A big thank you to everyone who has donated bits and bobs. โบ๏ธโบ๏ธ
Who would like to play dinosaurs today? ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐โโ๏ธ๐ป
Messy, sensory play at its best! Shaving cream is great for sensory exploration and provides endless opportunities for children to play and discover.
We are running low on spare clothes, especially trousers. If anyone has any spares, they will be very much appreciated. Thank you๐๐๐
