We are feeling nostalgic in the office today so here's a throwback to 2012 when we were a much smaller operation. We've come a long way since then but it's great to look back at the old team, as it was then. This photo was taken in our previous offices; at the forefront of the picture is our company founder, Rowland Taylor, who set up the company in 2006. In the background you may spot our Quality Manager Dave Cook and one of our instructors Stephen Gleeson, both are of whom are still working hard at AAT. #throwback #typetraining #Part147 #LovEly

Happy Monday everyone!! To get us started this week here's a great photograph of our instructor John Shipton and the students at TARMAC AEROSAVE. This photograph was taken last week during the B777 (RR, GE, PW) B1/B2 Practical. The students also recently successfully completed the theory element of the course with our instructor Stephen Hill. Well done to the students and instructors! #typetraining #lovewhatyoudo #B777

**BREXIT UPDATE** Here at Advanced Aircraft Training we have of course been considering the impact of BREXIT (deal/no deal/delay/no Brexit?) and we have been looking at ways to plan for every eventuality.
We are pleased to announce that we have now received confirmation from EASA that our early application for third country approval has been accepted and our EASA certificate has been issued.
... Our new approval certificate will become valid on 30th March 2019 and will allow us to seamlessly continue delivering EASA 147 approved courses following Brexit, no matter what the outcome of the negotiations.
We look forward to continuing to work with our friends around the world for many years to come. #147 #typetraining #Brexit #sighofrelief

Last Friday the latest group of students at our Ely office finished the theory element of the B737NG (CFM56) B1/B2 course. Good luck to all the students (and our instructor @John Shipton) starting the practical element of the course at Tui's Luton facility today. #typetraining #Tui #aviationmaintenance

The B737NG (CFM56) B1/B2 theory course currently taking place at our Ely facility has passed the halfway mark and our students and instructor John Shipton are all working hard! As always we will be sad to see the students leave at the end of the course. #LovEly #typetraining

One of the things that we love most about our job is the variety of courses that we are able to offer. Our instructors always enjoy getting in the SIM to teach engine ground run courses and here are some great pictures of Stephen Gleeson carrying out A320 NEO (LEAP-1A) EGR. #A320 #aviationmaintenance

Our A320 (CFM56 & V2500) B1/B2 theory course at FLYONE has come to an end with all students having successfully passed the course. Congratulations everyone and good luck to the students starting the practical element of the course today. Big thanks to our instructor Alan Crerar for all of his hard work.

User

No throwback Thursday here today - just a current picture of our instructor @Alan Crerar on an aircraft visit with his class at FLY ONE in Moldova. Alan is currently teaching an A320 (CFM56 & V2500) B1/B2 theory course. It certainly looks a bit chilly there but it's always good to be able to get out on the tarmac on a theory course.

User

Happy Monday everyone! Here's a couple of pictures of our instructor Stephen Gleeson on his travels. Steve is starting an A330 (all engines) B1/B2 theory course for Japan Airlines today. Don't worry - we are flying home for the Christmas break before the course resumes in January. Ooops did we just mention Christmas?! #typetraining #lovewhatyoudo #aircraftengineer
