Ever wondered what we do when we're not running our own amazing adventures?
We help capacity-build the outdoor activity community by delivering instructor training and assessment.
Here's a few pictures from our days shared on the water with PGL this week - great organisation, great instructors, great fun!

Heaps of holiday fun for the kids during October Half Term here at Bodiam :-) A great way to spend time in the outdoors with a variety of great activites...
We are offer an exciting day of land and water activities for children between the ages of 7–14 during the school holidays. Perfect for active children and working parents, children can be dropped off at between 8.30 and 9.00am until 3.30pm for just £32!
... Young Adventurers will be given the opportunity to experience a selection of activities available.
We will have a mix of activities including bushcraft, archery and water based fun!
For bushcraft, we cover the basics of what we need if we're to survive in the great outdoors! From shelter building and lighting fires to sensory perception and tree and plant identification. If the weather allows, we'll be taking the kids for adventures on the River Rother - we have paddle boards and kayaks for plenty of splashing fun, buidling water confidence and water skills on either.
Book as many of the sessions as you can make - no two days will be the same for water or land based activities!

Wow what a great time we had for Harry's 15th birthday. Abbie was amazing she got all our kit ready for us and showed us what we needed to know and off we went. We had such a fun filled time full of proper tuition on how to get the best results on our paddle boards. We had real fun and a good laugh. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes the sea. Would definitely do it again. Thanks Abbie you made Harry's birthday. Your a star and we got some fabulous pictures as well. Xx��

What can I say, these guys are great! My girlfriend and I booked a two hour paddle boarding lesson with Cliff on the seafront in Hastings and we had no complaints! The lesson started promptly and the group size was small (just three of us and the instructor), the conditions were beautiful and after a brief safety chat we got stuck in straight away. Cliffs coaching was brilliant and we were up and away in no time. The small class size meant we progressed quickly and were paddling out past the pier and through the piers pylons by the end of the lesson. I cannot recommend this company/coach experience highly enough! We will definitely be returning for some more paddle boarding with these guys. Thanks Cliff.

We went for my hen day for archery and paddle boarding. They were so helpful and couldn't do enough. Very friendly and really made all my friends feel at home. Great knowledgeable coaches. Beautiful surroundings and lovely part of the river. Would highly recommend.

We hired paddle boards for an hour in the evening & loved it. Our group was of mixed abilities (some never having paddle boarded before, others more experienced), but it was no problem just hiring and going off to do our own thing along the river. Good, friendly service and all very easy. Finished off with pizza at the Hub. Thank you!

We had a fantastic evening messing about on the river last night on the stand up paddleboards. A lovely setting with excellent equipment and instruction - I would highly recommend it. Thanks Adventure Activities Sussex!

Thanks to the whole team at Bodiam for making my nieces day on Saturday on there first paddle boarding adventure......there hooked!!!! (Even the one who fell in 14 times!!!!!) There already planning there next class!! Hope to see you in Hastings soon for some sea paddle boarding next!!!!!

Paddleboarding and Archery with Pete was brilliant. He was a great instructor and made sure we all had a really good time. Paddling on the river was great fun. Will definitely be visiting for more paddleboarding soon!

Our 6 yr old boy always has a great time , learning about nature in the woods and gaining valuable water skills combined with confidence in the river. Run professionally by a great team.

My son has been enjoying kayaking and paddleboarding at their after school club on Wednesday's. A much better alternative to Minecraft or T.V! A fantastic local resource available to all, just need to get the word out there and encourage more to go along.

Massive thanks to the excellent Ed, Abs and all the team at Adventure Activities Sussex for Sam's amazing 10th birthday weekend. Sam and his 7 friends had an incredible time enjoying bushcraft, archery and kayaking. Sam said it was all "brilliant" and is refusing to take his bushcraft wristband Ed gave him off - even in bed! We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend.

Had family visiting for the weekend and spent most of the afternoon on and in the water. Clifford made the session safe and fun for four children aged 7-14 and challenged the adults.

Highly recommend these guys for adults and children alike. Going to do archery and axe throwing next time they visit.

Fantastic morning paddle boarding around Hastings Pier. Perfect conditions for us first timers. Thank you for excellent tuition and never-ending patience.

Fab day, lovely area, archery and paddle boarding was such great fun. The instructors were so friendly and ensured we all enjoyed ourselves.

Brilliant 1-1 paddle boarding session today. My son and partner had a great time and Cliff the instructor was brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings too. Would highly recommend!
