This place is amazing. It is the cleanest play-park I have been too. The staff are friendly, food is great and I enjoy having a cheeky play too. I see there are people out there moaning about the place. I'm guessing these are the Lazy Parents who come up to sit down and gossip, not play with their children or even keep an eye on them. Some times it is busy and I have to keep a close eye on my daughter, but I take this as a positive as it means it's the place to be as everyone wants to be here. Like I said 5 star for me. And will be having many more visits.

Many thanks to Jake L for his enthusiastic and attentive party hosting today. He was energetic and friendly, and the children loved him. He was extremely professional throughout.



The whole party was well organised, with food being served as arranged and dietary needs catered for. Party bags were also brought out early so I could arrange some extra bits.

I have visited many soft play centres over the last few years and have to say this is the best one i have ever been to. It is so clean. Great play area. My little grandson loved the disco area, he loves to dance! The staff were helpful and the food was great. If we're ever in the area again I'm positive that this will be on our list of things to do

I am shocked at some of the recent reviews!



I’ve been a customer down at adventure island for many years now and NEVER have I experienced such issues that are mentioned!



The prices are extremely reasonable for entry, food & drink and of corse the fun run and Zorbs.

Staff are always attentive and helpful, often going the extra mile for my comfort, including my elderly parents by finding them a chair with a back rest!



Any parties I have hosted here at adventure island or attended with other parents have been of the highest standard of cleanliness and helpfulness with all round smiles of both the children and the party hosts! I feel bad if I have no money to leave a tip!



The food is cheap and exactly what I’d expect and want from such an establishment! And if you haven’t tried the hot chocolates, you’re missing out!



I’ve never experienced any problems with staff, whether that be in reception, in the park or in the fun run area. The only time I have been asked to do something is smoke at the end of the car park which I completely understand with it being a play park FOR KIDS!



Any of the points mentioned about staff being rude are ridiculous (the kitchen staff always have great banter with me!) and I know for a fact there is a permanent sign mentioning the time limits and how management can change this without warning to customers so why don’t you READ before you ACCUSE.



Overall this place is heaven for children and a great place for parents to catch up and gossip haha!

Hello, just wanted to message while it's fresh on my mind.



I visited your play area today for a birthday party, it was my first time at Adventure Island and I have to say I was VERY impressed.



As I walked through the door I was amazed at the wonderful theming, I loved all the little touches and was especially impressed with the disco/sensory room.



Having visited many play areas in the past 4 years and usually leaving disappointed, I throughly enjoyed being at yours and would rate you the top! The adults seating area was clean and tidy (which is not the norm for play areas) and the children's climbing frame itself was also clean and had the biggest range of activities I have seen.



The staff were friendly and helpful, the toilets were clean and the perfect size for both potty trainees and babies in nappies needing to be changed.



Although I didn't use it, I took a look at your baby area and was astonished, it was so well thought out and perfect for babies needs.



As my children were eating at the party, I decided to order myself some food. To my surprise the was a wide variety of food and I was served quickly. My food arrived fast and was delicious! The portions were of a good size and it was well cooked and prepared.



I also enjoyed the best hot chocolate I have ever had, (White Italian, with marshmallows, squirty scream and a flake) it was absolutely delicious!



When one of my children had fallen (as children so, a staff member came over to find me to make sure a) she had gotten to me and b) she was okay)



I have never been to a play area as amazing as this one, I can totally see why everyone raves about it, it is fantastic.



To all the staff, keep up the amazing work!

Had my sons 5th birthday party there at the weekend, all the kids had a brilliant time and our party host Jake did an amazing job with the children! Was fun, enthusiastic and friendly. Went aroung the play equipment with the children and joined in non-stop. Would definately recommend there party packages, will be going back! Good value too

Had a pay and play lazer tag event today for my 8yr old and 12 friends. Sam who ran the lazer tag was great with all the boys. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Had a brilliant party there today, party host was amazing with the kids, food was great and the whole process was really well organised. Would definitely recommend!

Too much attention was on the parties. Staff made other parents that weren't apart of the paritea feel like they were a burden to them and always in way. We sat at a table for an hour, whilst the table next to us had a dirty nappy on it. The floor next to that had spilt hot chocolate for the same amount of time. No wet floor sign. It appears as no-one cares. Won't be going back.

� someone had an accident and there was poo marks all down the slide � staff did clean the slide but children were still going down the slide next to the one with smears as they were cleaning! My children had poo smears all over their clothes! I phoned to inform the staff that the accident wouldn’t of been confined to just the slides & it will of been transferred to every piece of equipment! I was informed that they were happy everywhere was clean... as a parent I will not be taking my children there ever again, I appreciate accidents can happen and this was not the play areas fault however how the staff responded is not good enough � every piece of equipment needs to be thoroughly disinfected. We had to stop at Asda to purchase new clothes and disinfectant, it’s not just about the cost but the whole experience is something that a child shouldn’t have to go through �

What on earth has happened to pirates over the last few months?! I know it’s changed hands but I presumed the new owners still want to make money?????? That girl who always seems to be working there, is on some weird kind of power trip where she treats customers like crap! �� the last few times she’s been an idiot and today we were asked to leave after 2 and a half hours, (one of us had checked when we arrived if we were limited to 2 hours when it’s off peek and we were told- no time limit ) we were given warnings every 10 minutes or so that people with red stamps needed to leave and the few people who were in there were looking around in disbelief - even other members of staff seemed annoyed by her - when we did all leave ,we challenged her about why we had to leave an empty play area- apparently our children “weren’t calm” (in a play area��) and were seen throwing balls ( although when i asked her to identify my child who was causing trouble - she said she didn’t want to!!! �) I said if she had let us stay longer we all would have bought more drinks- making more money for the business -the place was empty ffs - one of us was offered a refund as she was the one who was told no time limit- then when we said we all wanted one -she changed her mind and said she couldn’t give any!!! it cost me £25 to get in there today, I’ve been visiting there with my children for the past 10 years and have had probably 6/7 birthday parties there! but seriously after today- being treated like that by some silly little girl - don’t think any of us will bother going again and I think that’s really sad���

We won’t be coming back, you pay £20 to come in here today, we’d ordered food and got asked to leave our table because they where then reserving it for a party. My 62 year old mum and 18 month old niece had to sit on the floor up a corner to eat their meal we’d just had ordered. It’s unacceptable, that parties get tables that people are already sat at as well as the pirate ship tables. If you have parties it would make more sense not to open to the public if there’s not enough seats for everyone, who pay. I’ve never seen something so unorganised.

Very rude member of staff spoke to us and told my neices and nephews to get out of the ball pit as the party had finished. It was literally 10 mins after my neices party had finished and parents were still chatting to my sister. She then proceeded to give us dirty looks and huffed and puffed picking up the balls! Considering my sister had just paid for 20 children party ! Not happy

I must say this place has gone so down hill over this last month or so Beth has serious issues about having power not sure if Beth is employed to ruin your business if so it’s working I am appalled at her behaviour today I will not be returning until she has her recieved her p45 even the other workers wasn’t impressed with how she dealt with all of us we thought we was loyal customers well done beth

I am absolutely appalled adventure island what are u doing with ure staff the lady on the desk (Beth) is so rude it is unreal even ure other staff were ashamed and disgusted of her behaviour... once entering we made a point of asking if there was a time limit due to schools being back we were advised NO NO TIME LIMIT TODAY however 2 and a half hours later we were told there was and it was because the atmosphere was not calm and over crowded I have never seen the place so empty so was shocked when we explained it was quiet we were told our children were told a numerous of times of there behaviour one child out of 15 were told once to keep balls in the ball pit which they did the lady would not point out which child was told and all children insisted none were spoke to... our children were very well behaved in all our eyes and I’m first to say if they wasn’t we have parties here all the time not anymore we spent a lot of money me myself had spent over £50 in tht 2 hours alone where is the fun young boy tht runs the place he is great however the power has defiantly gone to this ladies head she is horrendous I am going to upload a video to show how quiet the park was at 1pm if u want kids to sit in silence and not run about a play area is not a business to open for u!!!

I Visited pirate’s today with my 3 children, I asked the girl on the desk as I came in -if play was restricted to 2 hours and she said no. However just 2 hours later we were given a 40 minute warning to leave as our play time was over, myself and our group looked around in disbelief as the play area was pretty much empty -except for us and maybe 6 other families!!! We were warned of our impending removal from the play area an unnecessary amount of times ( every 5 minutes) - so when our time was up- we gathered our children and left- we asked why we needed to be removed when there was no limit and she informed us there was - I reminded her, I had asked and said if I had known, I wouldn’t have wasted my money!! (£22 inc food) for 2 1/2 hours of play!!!she then said I could have a refund ! When other members of my group said they would have a refund too as they weren’t told of a time limit at off peek times -she promptly changed her mind and said no one could have a refund - she said our children hadn’t been calm enough and were seen once inside the toddler area - we asked her why she didn’t say something to us about it ?? and she didn’t have an answer just said she didn’t want to pick out which children had been told off ! If my child had been disruptive I would want to know ! The place was not busy enough for our children to get told off by another adult without us seeing!!!! So very disappointed in the way things have changed, other staff members seemed uncomfortable with the way she was dealing with things. I’ve noticed her there on previous visits, dealing with customers in a very sharp way- not good for business!!!! During busy periods I totally understand a time limit - today was just ridiculous - I very much doubt I will come back again - which is a shame!
