An award-winning adventure activity centre on Dartmoor ideal for day visitors: choose from 15 activities incl. Rock Climbing, Kayaking and Gorge Scrambling! Close to A30, easy access from Exeter, North Cornwall and South Devon.

Our visitors enjoy swinging from ropes, clambering up walls, splashing through water and generally hurling themselves around, upping their adrenaline before relaxing for a great meal in our Granite Way Cafe, serving home prepared foods with local beers and ciders.

You’ll like the adventure centre and campsite attached to Okehampton Youth Hostel, on the edge of Dartmoor running outdoor adventures for all ages.

You and your small adventurers can have a go at mountain boarding, archery and scaling the climbing wall or ropes, with watersports including surfing, gorge scrambling, kayaking and canoeing on offer at the hostel’s private lake; true headers for heights can also have a go at the Big Oke Abseil.

Cycle Hire is also available, or "do it yourself", and go walking on Dartmoor
