Adventure Therapy

As a registered charity, Adventure Therapy exists to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, young people and adults with unique health conditions, impairments or limitations, through outdoor and adventure-led activities. We support people with mental health conditions, learning disability, physical disability, life limiting illnesses and life changing conditions. Our activities improve vitality and resilience, provide a sense of purpose and accomplishment, help people to form friends and create special memories. We accept personal referrals, from a parent or guardian and professionally, through the NHS, including GPs, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, other charities, schools or colleges, councils and community organisations. There are several ways you can get involved, support Adventure Therapy and importantly, be an integral part of our mission to change lives through adventure.
