The message from this news story is pretty clear: if you want to keep in shape, mentally and physically, load up some pacey music and get those feet moving.
We would love to know what tracks are on your walking or running playlist? What song gets you walking that extra half mile?

Give yourself permission to have a break:
We are sure you are all feeling a little bit busy on the countdown to Christmas, so we thought to share this article on the importance of rest and what defines it.
It appears that a lack of rest is a shared problem, so have a read (indecently the 'most popular rest activity') of the findings from a recent study named the ‚Äėrest test‚Äô by a group of psychologists from Durham University.
... Interestingly it explains that ‚Äėrestful activity doesn‚Äôt have to involve lazing around; it can involve intense exercise, but crucially it must help to relax, refresh and restore you‚Äô.
Busy isn‚Äôt a badge of honour, be mindful to take time out for you‚Ķ. rest without guilt, rest without stress and enjoy your Festive break. ūü饂≠źÔłŹūüćä ūüíú

Wave 105 has launched its annual 'Mission Christmas' appeal, run by Cash for Kids, where thousands of toys and presents are collected to be distributed to children living in poverty.
AECC Chiropractic Clinic is an official drop off point for donations of new and unwrapped toys for those children (age 0 to 18 years) who wouldn’t otherwise receive a gift this festive season.
We invite patients, interns, staff and our neighbours to help with our collection. Every gift donate...d and every penny raised for Mission Christmas stays local, so you can be sure that your generosity will benefit children living in our area. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys up until the 16th of December.
If you are not planning on visiting us before the 16th December, there are more drop off points in the local area that may suit your better, please visit the campaign page for more details: www.wave105.com/mission
Thank you so much from all of us at AECC Chiropractic Clinic

Travel news: We've just been in touch with 'Southern Gas Networks' about the Parkwood Road closure (at Christchurch Road end). The news is it should be clear on the 29th November (previously 16th November!).
However as work progresses up Christchurch road, temporary traffic lights between Hannington Road and Wolverton Road will remain until 20th December.
So please add extra 10 minutes to your journey if coming via car or bus. Sorry again for any inconvenience caused.

We've just heard via BCP Council that the Christchurch Road end of Parkwood Road where we our clinics are located will be closed 25th Oct - 16th November, to allow Southern Gas Networks to carry out essential maintenance.
There are lots of other routes in to us from neighbouring roads, so we are sure you will all be fine. The reception team suggest that if your appointment is in this date range, that you add an extra 5 minutes to your journey. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience caused.
