As a Prison Chaplin it was an honour to serve as Chaplain to The Royal British Legion and The Royal Airforce Association. It was a privilege to listen to the veterans stories of ‘being there’ whether at sea, on the ground or in the air. Those who were prisoners of war and those who liberated the concentration camps. Their stories add meaning to the bloody landscape of ‘being there.’
