Long term BMW customer Richard dropped his car off with us to develop our VUDU stage 3 software on his Pure Turbos stage 2 powered BMW N55 M135i.
The vehicle used to run a JB4 that was giving Richard some performance issues, we advised running an uprated HPFP from TTFS that provides the additional fueling in the mid to top end range these engines require when running increased boost pressure required for a hybrid turbo.
With the HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) supplied and... fitted we set about re scaling the pump and working on our Stage 3 VUDU ecu recalibration.
After a number of revisions we have managed to produce a safe 446whp and 485lbft in 26c dyno cell, running 99 ron fuel
Over the next few months we will be testing with Richard and looking to add meth to acheive some additonal power gains whilst aiming to maintain lower charge temps.

Stage 2Pro running a little lower than usual due to not been able to meet its recommended boost target this will be due to a relaxed stock actuator and unusually high intake temps.

We are at Oulton Park Circuit for Round 3 of Time Attack. Currently, all cars are performing well with no issues and no sign of rain. Things are looking good for our home race.
With warm up and practice out of the way, we are currently dominating the class with an AET Motorsport 1, 2 & 3 position line-up.
Both technicians are currently giving the cars a once-over, changing tyres and bleeding brake fluid, before qualifying, which starts at 2.10pm.

**The VUDU Roll Cage**
The preparation for the third round of the Time Attack Championship at Oulton Park has given us the chance to take a closer look at the VUDU Roll Cage.
Equipped to all three of our cars this weekend, the Fiesta ST Roll Cage has been designed specifically for track days and show cars.
... Bolted directly to the car, the roll cage requires the removal of the rear seats and can be installed at AET Motorsport in under 2 hours.
Our crash at the Knockhill Racing Circuit last year demonstrates the protection the VUDU Roll Cage offers, with the driver walking away from the crash sustaining no injury.
