Afc St.Austell

Based in Cornwall, AFC St. Austell are a profesional football club currently competing in the South West Peninsula league (Premier Division West). Having been founded in 1890, the club played at Rocky park before moving to its current home, Poltair Park. Existing as one of the founding members of the South Western division in 1951 the Lillywhites claimed the title once in 1968-69 and achieved four runner up spots between 1963 and 1973 remaining in the original competition until 2007 when they joined the newly formed South West Peninsula Division One West. After gaining promotion, finishing runners up in the 2009-10 season, AFC St. Austell remain in the South West Peninsula Premier Division West (10th tier of English football).
