This my first visit to Affleck & Brown and it won't be my last.....their Rhubarb Spritz is to die for and I'm not even a big gin fan! The bar staff are very friendly and the whole atmosphere is just great....I will be recommending Affleck & Brown to whoever will listen!! �

Loved this place! The women behind the bar was so lovely! Making different cocktails that wasn't on the menu and they was so good 😬 When I am next in Manchester I am definitely going back here! She put a smile on everyone's face! We was a group of 20 ladies on a hen do and she made it great for us! Telling us where the best place for food was that was close to us! Recommend it to everyone! 😊😊😊

Literally best 2 hours I've spent in a bar. The drinks are first class as are the staff, love the sliding folding windows. Simply put it's one of the best bars in the NQ. The crowd are non pretentious and up for a laugh. As for the music, easily the greatest playlist ever. The Clash, Bowie, Madonna, The Boss, just great record after record. Love the place �

First visit and will be going back again,the Barman was very accommodating,ordered two glasses of wine,he advised me it was better to get a bottle as you would get more for your money,and he was right,Very relaxed atmosphere,Thanks Vicky and Paul from Bolton .

Defo one of my few go-to bars in NQ. Vibes are right for having a pint and getting some work done on my computer, and at the same time there's a great crowd on the weekends and on any evening. Favvvvv

Absolute Gem of a find for me one of the Best Bars,not just in the Northern Quarter but Manchester. Great, friendly and relaxed atmosphere whenever I go lunch or evening. The gin selection is good, the reason I love this place is because it's rustic and honest about what it is..not trying to be something more or less than it is..plus it reminds me of back home. Very nice bar..I was out for Mother's day pre evening meal drinks An Expresso martini for my.daughter in law and a Raspberry Motijo for myself and a beer for my son .Would love to visit again to try more cocktails.Nice attentive friendly staff.

Spent a couple of hours in here after shopping late afternoon/ early evening. Great atmosphere, great music and friendly staff.

Good atmosphere and good mix of people... only annoyance was the poured the tonic into the gin which we'd rather do ourself next time.

First time I'd been in. Nice sunny evening, heard live music, popped in to see what was happening. Seemed a friendly place, prompt service and a young lad, with a guitar, doing a singing session. Quite enjoyable.

£14:50 for 2 large vodkas. ..bit overpriced considering the way the toilets smelt!! Especially so early on in the evening. Just saying.

Atmosphere was great but Sorry something needs to be done about the toilet smell....as soon as you start going down the stairs it hits you!! Also toilet roll to dry your hands on....When I'm paying that much for drinks surely a hand dryer that works or towels etc isn't a lot to ask for?!
