www. afghanconnection.org - The aim of Afghan Connection is to bring hope and opportunity to a generation of young people in Afghanistan through education, sport and health. If we can change one life for the better, our work is worthwhile.

Dr Sarah Fane OBE, set up Afghan Connection (AC) in 2002 following several working visits to Afghanistan during the Russian War and under the Taliban regime. What she saw during those visits was a beautiful country devastated by war. Girls were denied an education and with women banned from working, many boys' schools lacked teachers and many schools had been destroyed.
