About Age Diversity Network

Set up by our founder Mike O'Reilly, Age Diversity Network is an organisation that provides extensive training and education to organisations on how to offer the best working environment and hiring practices to the older workforce to tackle Age Diversity in the workplace and when recruiting by working with Employers, Recruitment companies, and employees /job seekers. Having endured age discrimination himself as an ‘older worker', Mike was determined to change the narrative and set up an organisation that faced this challenge head-on. With an increasing population and retirement ages continually being stretched, there is a growing need to recognise the benefit of utilising the vast amount of skills the older workforce brings, along with the positive outcomes of employing a truly embedded intergenerational workforce and the success that brings. The aim of the Age Diversity Network is to educate, train, and assist companies in harnessing the opportunities these highly skilled and knowledgeable workers can bring, and how the inclusivity of all generations working alongside each other can benefit everyone. We aim to change the bias against older workers into a positive and actionable process within the workplace and to eradicate any discrimination due to age. We also provide an extensive service to those individuals who require guidance and support services in their quest for finding work or suffering from ageism in the workplace. These services are provided free of charge to all individuals needing that help.
