Age UK Hertfordshire is an independent local charity working to, alleviate loneliness and isolation, tackle poverty and build resilience in the community for older people in Hertfordshire who need our help. (Charity number 1116662)

We want to help you to get the most out of later life. We recognise that sometimes getting older can present a number of challenges so we provide a range of services that help you to keep active and living independently for as long as possible.

We have been supporting older people for over 50 years. So you can have full confidence in the services that we provide.

Every week we help over 3000 older people get more out of later life. Our dedicated and hardworking team of volunteers and staff:

• enable people to keep fit, healthy and active
• organise events and creative activities at our social clubs
• provide vital information to older people, their relatives and friends
• give help with managing paperwork and financial matters
• visit isolated older people in their own homes for companionship
• support people after a stay in hospital
• help older people with household chores

Most of our services are free apart from Help in the Home and some of our social clubs for which we make a small charge.
