Age UK Thanet's mission is to enable people to enjoy every stage of their life from the age of 50 and to empower people to remain independent by providing services to reduce loneliness and isolation.

Age UK Thanet's mission and vision is to improve later life for everyone in the Thanet area by working in partnership with the national organisation and by providing information and support to help older people cope and adjust to the needs and changes of their current environment.

We aim to do this by providing day opportunities and lunch clubs to facilitate social contact and stimulation. This helps to reduce isolation and loneliness by maintaining and restoring independence.
