Brilliant food

beautiful Indian food worth a visit

We have either eaten in or had take always from this restaurant for many years. The reason? The Agra consistently delivers good food, a friendly service at a competitive price. The quality of the food exceeds almost all of the similar restaurants we have eaten in nationwide. It is a small intimate place, a medieval building, clean and comfortable just off the town centre down near the river. A very pleasant setting. The range of Indian food is comprehensive and cooked to your preference. The staff are good humoured and very attentive. There are special nights on aTuesday and a Thursday which are very good value. A great place for the intimate meal and the office outing or birthday meal. Think Indian food in Lincolnshire, think Agra Tandoori in Horncastle.

Fantastic Indian restaurant, have eaten there loads of times and always, a brilliant meal. The staff are friendly and very obliging. The comments by others of it being small are correct but I must.say that this would apply to 90% of Indian restaurants. The thursday special is brilliant, as is the food and l always end up takimg.enough home for lunch the next day! Absolutely highly recommended.

Had seen all of the reviews below but despite this I thought I'd give the Agra a try. Had a take-away from the Agra and enjoyed the food that much that I went to the restaurant and ate in. Both experiences were very good. Great food, good service and nice restaurant. I would go again. I wouldn't go to the Chinese in Horncastle though - "The Kings Treasure". Worst chinese I've ever had!
