Agri-Broadband brings fast broadband to help family engineering firm, Lloyd Engineering, operate their worldwide specialist excavation and digging equipment company from their beautiful, rural Welsh location. We engaged the network at father-in-law's house (arrow) and then beamed the broadband back to the house and factory/office. Anita Lloyd in front of her dream house.

We have teamed up a Texan broadband expert to bring the Agri-Broadband miracle to the USA.

We occasionally get asked if we cover Northern Ireland. That we do! We have several customers north of the border. Sadly we cannot do Eire at the moment.

Thanks to Private Eye for a perfectly topical cartoon!

A tale of two quotes. A customer contacted us from near this seriously remote location in the beautiful Peak District.
Our one-off fee to get fast broadband to this challenging place was a tax deductible £1,020 including VAT (reclaimable).
The quote from BT for a slower service was £173,660! - Makes you think !

Mission accomplished for Agri-Broadband on Raasay. In the end we beamed broadband back from the deck behind a council house belonging to a bloke called Sean in Applecross on the mainland. A truly generous type to offer help (I had never met him before). The signal goes across 9 miles of open sea to the croft of a journalist and actor and their three lovely kids on Raasay. They have no electricity and so the whole thing, their end, is run from a car battery. The relief (for me) when the internet connected was palpable! Otherwise 650 miles each way for nothing.

Our greatest challenge yet! A customer with a croft on the Scottish island of Raasay wants fast broadband. The croft has no electricity. We are going to pick up the signal on the mainland and beam it sixteen miles over the sea to be collected by one of our remote pick up units powered by her car battery.

Just when you thought Mr Cameron was losing sleep over your broadband problems. . .

Another Agri-Broadband miracle! Technically, this client, 10 miles south of Llandudno in beautiful rural Wales, had no chance of ever seeing fast broadband. Putting his 4X4 to its limits on this delightful hill farm, Agri-Broadband founder, Richard Guy, found a point where we could just engage a signal, right at the very edge of the farm. Now they are seeing speeds of 30+MB/s. Their internet life is about to be transformed!

User

A new speed record was set earlier in the week with this installation in Devon hitting 89.64 Mb/s!

A warm welcome at David Pipe - the legendary racehorse training yard - http://www.davidpipe.com/ . Currently operating on less than 1MB/s our test pole achieved over 36MB/s which will be literally transforming. David's father, Martin (left), is the perfect host here giving Agri-Broadband founder, Richard Guy (right), a go on the jockey training electric horse!

Another day, another interesting enquiry!
"Squirrels water and trees have destroyed my BT land line. Please could I order your 4G solution."

We LOVE happy customers! This lady and her husband live in a remote farmhouse in the southwest:
"OK …. So its day 1 and I don’t want to get ahead of myself but our broadband speed check last week was 2.4 and today …………
38 Mbps !!!... What can I say? We are beyond delighted. Thank you.
Kind regards, Joanne"
