Aguadulce - Bar Y Restaurante Description
I have come to Brighton from Aguadulce-Almeria (South-East of Spain) where, after being the Chef in my own restaurant for 9 years, I have helped others setting up their own catering businesses.
In this colourful town I have opened what I believe is the only authentic restaurant and tapas bar.
We have a bar area with seats at the counter as well a table area, a selection of freshly-made snacks and sandwiches, the only draught of Estrella Galicia in town, Gluten and Alcohol-free beers, award winning Spanish wines, a modest Gin boutique, a number of Spanish liqueurs, numerous Sherries and our own Sangria (a close attempt to the Solera system) with a very unique flavour profile.
Our drinks promotions and by the glass wine offerings aim at giving to all the possibility to approach the Spanish gastronomic culture, not to mention the hand carved Serrano Reserva and Bellota Iberico hams.
In the dining area we display the Spanish culinary traditions the all world adores.
A great selection of Paellas and rice dishes, the extensive range of tapas dishes, the most famous main plates one might have tasted while on holiday in the Iberian peninsula (i. e. Rabo de Toro) are just a little part of our offering.
There is the chance to savour much more, such as the traditional Suckling Pig, Empanadas, Croquetas, Octopus dishes and Pig's Trotters.
Only the best food suppliers in the area have a part to play in the creation of our seasonal menus.
I truly hope that, if visiting, one will understand and embrace the levels of different spices and seasoning I use in my cooking, knowing that I aim only at bringing to this welcoming town the true, fresh, original and traditional flavours of the land that gave me the precious chance to train and succeed as a Chef.

We spent a fantastic evening here last Saturday. The food was delicious and the service was second to none. We will definitely dine here again when we are in Brighton again.
We make a point of trying Spanish restaurants everywhere we go & this is Brighton's finest. Always excellent, whether we're in a large group of just 2 of us, everything is so fresh & authentic. Yet another great meal last night, super-fresh fish, warm service and a small bill! The owner is especially lovely. Get down there!
We had a brilliant time here last weekend for my friends hen do. The restaurant were very accommodating with a large group. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food. We will certainly be back. The croquetas were to die for! So good!
We had 6 tapas and a jug of sangria for only Ā£30! It was all delicious and the staff were lovely! Had a great time and definitely will be back! ļæ½
Was a little put off when we saw the outside of the restaurant, but well worth going in!
All the tapas we had was amazing & good to find somewhere that cooks calamari properly.
As to the ice cream! Wow!
The most fabulous Spanish restaurant! Loved it and weāll be back soon!
The food was outstanding! Best Tapas Iāve had in the UK! The staff were so lovely and just couldnāt do enough for us! Thank you so much for such a fantastic evening!

Stumbled upon AguaDulce just before it closed last night when we were desperate for food during The Great Escape - it proved to be the highlight of the festival. Fantastic food but better than that the charm and comedy from Mattia the manager was out of this world. We havenāt laughed so much in years! And the paella and tapas were just fantastic. A massive win - do seek this place out and you wonāt regret it. )huge Personal thanks for the jar of strong black coffee he made me to get me through the drive home to London - sir you are a legend!! Silvia

Had a lovely meal, service was great, food was beautiful i lived in Spain for 10 years and it reminded me of home. Would recommend to anyone.
Great food, amazing atmosphere, lots of alcohol and extremely good value for money.
They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu.
Really one of the best place in town just 10meter from the beach ļæ½ highly recommended.
