What an Amazing Seminar with Joe Thambu Shihan! We would like to take this opportunity to thank Joe Sensei for sharing his knowledge freely. I'm sure everyone that attended will agree that no matter your ability or level, you always learn something and have lots to think about afterwardis. We are reminded of how lucky we are to be a part of the Aikido Shudokan family.
To all of you that took the time on your weekend to attend the event, we would also like to thank you, as ...it wouldn't be possible without your support. Some of you travelled a long way from home to be us and we really appreciate this.
Lastly, a final thank you for all the people that helped assist in ensuring the seminar ran as smoothly as possible, especially Cezary Felisiak for his lovely Polish home cooking, which I certainly enjoyed 😀. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Only one week to go until we welcome Joe Sensei back!
Here are some details for the seminar next weekend:
... The location of the seminar
The seminar this year is set at Westbrook Hay Prep School. You will approach the school from London Road. It is a long drive uphill. When you reach the top, you will see 2 entrances, take the right entrance (the system is one way). This will lead you pass the main school building. Follow the road around to your left and you will see a car park in front of you (more parking is around the back of the school). As you enter this car park, you will see some red brick buildings on your left and a path that leads to the Performing Arts Centre. This is where you will find the changing rooms. Walk around to the back of this building and you will see a large green building, which is the Sports Hall. The seminar will take place here.

Lunch If you wish to buy your lunch then the town centre is close by (approximately 10 minutes drive). It may be easier to bring your lunch with you to avoid going up and down the drive.
Evening Meal There will be an evening meal at Sahara Indian Restaurant from 7pm. If you haven’t put your name down for the meal and would like to go, please let me know as soon as possible. The cost for the meal is £13 per person. This includes a starter, main course with side order and coffee.
