Aims, The Association Of Independent Meat Suppliers

AIMS is a trade association representing independently owned meat businesses along the supply chain. Members include abattoirs, cutting plant, meat processors, wholesalers and catering butchers. AIMS represents the interests of it's members with regulatory bodies. Members benefit from 24 /7 advice on issues such as animal welfare, food law, technical aspects of running a meat business and market opportunities. AIMS also operates it's own assurance standard, the Assured Meat Processing Scheme. In 2018 AIMS incorporated the National Association of Catering Butchers (NACB) and it's NACB technical standard for catering butchers.
