Top live music bar..ideally located..I agree with someone saying that bar staff are rude..not just the blonde skinny girl..also male staff very rude..and if you talk to boss which I know him too..he won't take notice..therefore I get served by someone else..Shame that a famous bar has employed rude staff it's beyond me.

This isn amazing wee bar, I was there in November and I'll be sure to come back every time I'm in London from now on. Great music and atmosphere!

The home of blues in London. Top acts and awesome artwork at this swinging joint. A must visit venue.

I’ve been there a few times and it’s definitely one of the best bars in London but I have to admit that tonight’s gig was the best ever!

I play at the Ain't Nothin' But... Blues Bar for almost 20 years on and off and it's one of my favourite places in the world. Amazing atmosphere

I love this blues bar. My daughter and I will be coming to listen to music when I am in London. It is definitely on my to do list. Cannot wait. One of my most enjoyable experiences in London.

I had the luck to discovered this wonder in 2001, thanks to an old version of London's Routard. A wonderful temple of music, where a genuine mood is shared in a cozy and lovely place. Get there not too late, to find a spot and enjoy the good beer and people. I returned there after 17 years and found the same magic.

As always I love this little bar, and it was a delight to see Jake Vegas & Andy Wiersma finish off the Blues Jam last night. I’ve wanted to see them for a while after catching their last song at a gig less than a year ago. So, this time down from Scotland I was delighted to see them twice within the week. The first was at Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues on Thursday, where the full band that is Jake Vegas & The Black Diamonds blasted out rockin’ jump blues with Jake taking his blues shouter lead from Joe Turner and Wynonie Harris as the band swung with sax and guitar breaks over a pounding rhythm section. You just knew the weekend was starting here!

The second was last night at Ain’t Nothin’ But - Blues Bar where Jake and Andy alone with a rhythm section ended the Sunday blues jam with gentle and mournful blues that let you know that Blue Monday was just around the corner. The contrast between the two nights couldn’t have been more obvious, but it is their sheer love of the blues in all its forms that makes them true warriors of their craft.

In an age where The Blues is now seen as “blues rock” and it’s followers seem to be more interested in the “rock” than blues, it’s refreshing to hear musicians playing the blues in its true form. When guitar players are caught up trying to improvise and be SRV & Joe Bonamassa wannabies, how refreshing it was to hear Andy Wiersma playing old style blues with the punch and vigour of T-Bone Walker on Thursday night, along with sweet and gentle tones of say, a Peter Green or Jimmie Vaughan on Sunday night.

Jake Vegas & The Black Diamonds in my mind seem to be doing to the current blues scene in London what The Fabulous Thunderbirds did to the then blues scene in Austin of the 1970’s and taking it away from the self indulgent, heavy rock minded individuals of their day.

Why this band does not have a regular residency in London is beyond me....they deserve their own Antones!

Intimate (read:crowded) pub with an eclectic mix of live music in central London. It's a challenge to "belly-up to the bar" and get a drink. That just adds to the character of the place. If your tastes run towards blues, it's a must see.

Nice vibe from the crowd .... great music, great crowd , a fantastic night if you're willing to put up with the extremely rude barman

It’s one of my favourite bar in London, music is very good. unfortunately I came on the 14th of February and the service was very bad, especially one bartender “blond with a goatee” was very rude.. (very bad language).I asked another bartender ( black hair)that I wanted to speak to the manager but they told me that there was no manager ...few clients and the singer before I left told me that this blonde bartender was very rude that night with other clients.. poor service and very rude bartenders ..
