We went for a family meal for four. Service has definitely improved from the early days going by reviews in the past. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable. The food was faultless and all served within the timescales I find in most restaurants. Not too hurried and definitely served with the correct intervals between each course. We all enjoyed our dishes and as you do all sampled each other's choices. None of us were disappointed. It was the kids first foray into Indian cuisine and our son was into everything. This is the boy that only ever eats sausage, chips and gravy when we eat out. He has now opened his palette to other types of food now thanks to our visit here. We will be returning. Waited 45 minutes before we ordered starters had to say we been waiting so long was over an hour for starter to arrive an nearly 2 hours for main food was lovely but to long to wait for food an was supposed b prizes ect but never happened free champagne and dancers but service was slow

I have been here a few times for a curry to take out and I must say that I have never had a nicer curry anywhere. Also the salad that was served with the curry was so fresh. 10/10 for me.

First visit we came from stoke to stay with friends and our experience was wonderful, Great food and great staff, Can't fault it, the food was absolutly fabulous and have to say our service was very quick and the waiters are funny, attentive and very very friendly, Big thank you x

Been with my hubby several times since it opened, mainly early evening on Fridays. Food has always been excellent. Service is generslly good but have sometimes had to wait a little between courses or for the bill to be brought to us although that does not detract from the quality of the food. Only negative for me is the background music which is not to my taste.

We went for the 1st time last night. Got there for 7 table orders. Fell didn't have a clue. But we knew were we were sitting so not a problem.

There was 7 of us. We didn't wait that much at all. Food was fabulous , hot and tasty. Had a lovely night there . People were so friendly .

Was a bit of a wait between the starter and the main but the food was really nice and the staff were friendly

Food is spot on service was good but it was a Thursday and only 4 other people in, have been previously an waited 40 mins for starters, service needs improving but would recommend there, food very tasty.

Food was lovely but service was hit and miss a couple actually walked out because they said they had been ignored we waited ages for r drinks the staff didn't seem organised and weren't very friendly won't be going there again only for the food would of scored lower than a 3

booked for 12 people this evening on the 20th december, got there and they didnt know anything about it, we go shoved in a seperate part of the building and waited 15 mins before even being offered anything to drink and when one of us asked for a drink the waiter come out of the kitchen area throwing something across the floor in an angry way then come over with an attitude to ask us what we wanted to drink! then we waited another 15 minutes before we decided to walk out because it seemed they were more interested in serving the telephone service orders than they were the people who were sitting in the establishment! disgusting service and terrible behaviour , never again !

We arrived on Sunday and we're seated straightaway and we're given the menus. Aprox 10 minutes later another waiter came over to ask if we'd ordered popadoms but we replied "no" and told him no one had taken any sort of order of food or drinks. He then went away. In the meantime two more tables were filled with people who sat down but to our horror they were served before us. At this point we'd been sat there for 20 minutes patiently waiting. When my husband saw the waiter go to yet another table to take their order the waiter told my husband to hold on whilst he took this other tables order (they'd just sat down!) to which my husband and I told the waiter it wasn't good enough and we left. We've eaten here many times and there's never been a problem but we know friends have also had the same problem with lack of service. Not good enough!!

My party of five arrived at this restaurant for my birthday meal at 7:15pm. We were sat down within minutes but it was ten minutes before anybody asked if we wanted any drinks. Fifteen minutes later the drinks arrived and ten minutes after that we got a menu.



Having had the menus for almost twenty minutes somebody finally took out order just before 8pm.



By then more drinks were required so we ordered another couple of brandy and cokes and two more pints of Cobra. The brandies arrived about five minutes later and the waiter said the barrel for the Cobra was just being changed. A few minutes later the waiter brought two pints in Carling glasses which I queried and he insisted it was Cobra in a Carling glass. Clearly it wasn't as it tasted completely different and he then went back behind the bar and began pulling through the new barrel of Cobra!



At 8:40 45 minutes after ordering, I asked whether we were getting any food at all. The waiter apologised and disappeared to the kitchen. He came out and immediately went back behind the bar without giving us any indication what the delay was or any info at all. At this point there were around 100 dirty glasses piled up on the bar and nobody bothering to clean them.



At this point a table of around six people got up to leave as they also had not had any food. They were intercepted at the bar, already leaving with their coats on, and the manager persuaded them to stay.



Around 8:45 four of the starters came out, one of them cold. Ten minutes later I asked where the other starter was and it arrived about five minutes later.



At 9:20 I told the party if the food had not arrived by 9:30 we would be paying for the starters and drinks we had already had and leaving.



Within that ten minutes another party of six came to the bar to query why they had not yet had any food, they had been there more than an hour.



Nothing materialised and so at 9:30pm we got up, put on our coats and prepared to leave. I asked the man behind the bar how much we owed for starters and drinks and he refused to tell me. The manager came over asking for more time and I told him we were leaving but wanted to know how much we owed for starters and drinks. He refused to tell us insisting the food was on the way. I again told him we were leaving and did not want the food. By this time most of the restaurant were looking over as I had to insist louder and louder that he tell me how much we owed.



Eventually I stated if he didn't tell us how much we owed we would be leaving without paying anything. He said he just needed a little more time. Once again I said "Starters and drinks, how much?" He refused to tell me and so we left without paying a penny for 6 pints of beer and four brandies and coke.



Appalling service but rated excellent for value as it ended up being free.

Literally would give no stars if it was possible! Booked a table for me, my mum and sister for mothers day waiting time was absolutely disgusting and it wasn't even that busy! All 3 main meals were freezing cold, waiter had an awful attitude and between the staff they wouldn't give us an answer and continued to speak in a foreign language and were really rude!! Ended up walking out, definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone

I waited 2 hours after being told 1 and half hour wait for delivery? When I rang back, I was told I didn't open my door??? The driver apparently stood outside my house for half an hour, he also rang me???? When I said nobody had knocked, we have a dog who barks and goes crazy when there's a knock, I was called a "liar" I've never been spoken Tobin that manner before, absolutely disgusting. Sha are you the manager?

Husband has just returned from picking up take away, item was missing. Rang up about it and said nothing they can do about it now. Would have over looked this if it was a one off but it happened the last time we ordered. Wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager to discuss this. Shambolic service won't be returning when there are other lovely Indian restaurants in the area which are reliable every time.

Have just been here with my wife and had to leave in disgust, sat for 20 minutes without even being offered a drink. Then when a couple walked in and a member of staff approached them within 5 minutes of arriving we called over to remonstrate but we were told to wait. So 25 minutes no drinks to be had and no food order taken. Since this place has opened we have regularly eaten here and probably as often got take out, that's a whole lot of business you've lost to the Pepper Vine 30 yards away

Completely shocking from the moment we went in a few weeks ago. Service is the worse I have had, had to get a drink change 3 times before they got the right one then it was in a dirty glass. Starter bland and cold then we got the main after me and my partner had one mouth full both said to the staff how bad it was cold fatty greasy bland shocking!!! They pulled there face and said it was fine so we left the lot still being told to pay in full as well as being charged for the drinks they got wrong then to make matters worse we both ended up with food poisoning from it, worse restaurant I have been!!!!!
