What a great place, really easy to get around especially when using the audio handset.
Plenty of history within these tunnels, you cannot begin to imagine what it would have been like, but you get a good idea..5*
Visited yesterday with family. Young granddaughter really enjoyed it as did we all. Very well put together displays. The hand held guides work really well especially for children as they don’t often like to read posters/notices. Well done for a great visitor attraction.
Very interesting. Makes you think about how would you cope being down there with 6,000 people?! Not knowing if your house and animals survived.
The place is just brilliant it really shows what it were like back then. I don't normally go to places like this but I did enjoy it
Superb insight into how the people of Manchester stayed safe from the air raids of WW2. Would thoroughly recommend.
Really interesting to learn how difficult people had it back in the war. Makes you realise how lucky we are. Staff extremely friendly. Well worth a visit.
Really enjoyed the tour around the shelters with my wife and grandson Charlie..very informative and an eye opener for us all..particularly liked the audio play readings by people readind actual experiences. Recommended to all and follow it with a visit to the Stockport Museum..another eye opener which has a genuine charm about it...another 5☆ visit

Lovely little find, very informative and interesting. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
I enjoyed my tour today makes u realise how difficult things were back then. I'm coming back again with my grandchildren. This could very well be out future the way this world is today
Great place to visit. Two older daughters and 6 year old grandson. I am in a wheelchair and accessible was excellent. Staff extremely helpful x
Brings back what it must have been like to live in those terrifying times
Brilliant tour of the unlit tunnels . I would fully recommend to visit. It is s shame they only do the tour like this once a month. Will visit again to experience the exhibition side of the tunnels.
Booked this morning to search for Santa. We had a fantastic time. One of the only Father Christmas visits that doesn't charge for adults! It was well thought out, great value for money, educational and entertaining. Even though we were part of a small group it felt really personal and you didn't feel rushed when seeing santa. I'd highly recommend! We'll be definitely booking for next year!
A great experience. Easily worth the the entrance fee. I’d like to-do the extended guided tour sometime.
Well organised, only thing is if you aren't there for the guided tour, which I believe only runs rarely, then due to safety concerns (getting lost) parts of the tunnel system are closed off. However, that said, there was still plenty to see and hear to give you an insight into life during the air raids.
