We are seeking a full time and permanent Group SH&E Manager to develop and execute health and safety initiatives across our Group companies located in Wiltshire, Bristol, County Durham and Lancashire.
Based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring best practice and compliance in all health and safety issues in line with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
Reporting directly in to the Chief Executive Officer a...nd working 35 hours per week, you will effectively co-ordinate and lead Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives across the Group. This will include providing specialist advice, support and information to employees at all levels. You will be required to support all areas of the business in ensuring a safety first culture and provide training, where necessary. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data records and statistics, using the information to provide analysis and solutions to the Board.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role and is qualified with a NEBOSH diploma as minimum.
The successful candidate must actively keep up to date with changing legislation and understand the importance of a quick and effective response time, along with its impact on the business. An individual with a pro-active attitude and excellent influencing and negotiating skills is essential in order to develop positive attitudes to health and safety within all levels of the business.
Due to the amount of data recording required in this role, the successful candidate will need to be computer literate with Microsoft Office, especially Access.

The Airsprung Factory Shop is open Friday to Sunday and has an excellent reputation locally, with many customers visiting on recommendation.
We have a vacancy for a Retail Assistant to join the team at the factory shop on a part time basis. The successful applicant will assist with the sales of beds and answer any queries the customers may have. They will also be responsible for the lifting, moving and assembling of beds, when required.
The hours of work are 19 per week to ...be worked Fridays 8.30am - 4.00pm, Saturdays 9.00am - 4.00pm and Sundays 10.30am - 4.00pm.

We are an established bed manufacturer and employ around 400 people across our Trowbridge site premises. We are looking for a Security Officer to help maintain the safe and secure environment we have for our people, premises and property across our 28 acre site in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Overview Your responsibilities will include authenticating right of access to the workplace and conducting searches on employees, vehicles and lockers, when necessary. Health and Safety is h...igh on the agenda and therefore you will also be required to ensure you keep accurate records of any incidences that occur and assist the security manager with safety and security checks around the site. On occasion you will be required to organise the use of covert cameras.
Personal Characteristics All candidates must have a valid SIA licence and a full UK driving licence. Own transport is desirable but a pool car will be available for driving duties. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role before and have a good understanding of CCTV and alarms. Their CV will show a solid background, with gaps accounted for. You will often be the first contact with visitors to site and therefore an excellent attitude to your work and customer service is necessary to be successful in this role.

We get lots of different types of CV's here at Airsprung. Some are great.... and some are not so great. Read on for our top tips on how to give your CV the best chance of getting shortlisted and getting you a step closer to that job you have your eye on.
Keep it Simple - By making your CV clear we can find the information we're looking for. This can help us make decision quicker about an interview.
Try to keep your CV to 2 or 3 pages - Long CV's can put us off when we have... lots to read. Keep the important information on there and you can elaborate more at an interview.
Tailor your CV - It's easy to sent the same CV to lots of different companies and hope for a reply but we really appreciate the effort from someone who has researched the company and the job they are applying for.
Explain gaps - If you have had a break in your employment history then it's important you put the reason why on your CV. Whatever the reason, we welcome the honesty.
Check your CV - By ensuring your CV is up to date and free of errors it shows us that you have paid attention to detail - and we like that!
