On 5th March 1936, Capt. Mutt Summers flew the prototype Spitfire K5054 on her maiden flight at Eastleigh Airport. 83 years and 22 days later, his grandson took the controls of our Spitfire simulator.

As of this weekend we are officially out of the prototype phase of our first Spitfire simulator. In spite of a few technical issues the interest, feedback and kind words from the public at The Goodwood Revival was fantastic and I’d like to personally thank everyone who took time to come and see us at Boultbee Flight Academy. I’d also like to thank, Charlie, Amy, Tim , Jack, Rob and Joanne for their help and support over the last few days.
