visited last night 10 of us with a wheelchair user for a 21st birthday. nothing was too much trouble, two lovely boys who carried the lady up with us. food was lovely and loved by all. thanks PAX �

Went in on Monday lunch time, after a close friend recommended it to us. Food outstanding, service good and staff good. Only small thing it lacked a bit of atmosphere but it was a Monday and lunch time so not a lot I guess can be done. Hubby already booked in for a second visit with a work friend within the week.

We went today for the first time and i can say we will definitely be returning, couldn't off asked for better service and the food was fantastic

Very good food. Being vegetarian I don't feel like you get many good veggie options anywhere.. your goats cheese burger was to die for � nom!

My first visit but my mum & sister in law had both visited before. We all had the special Baby got Beef with sweet potato fries & coleslaw. Absolutely amazing burger & service!! I don’t ever normally eat burgers but I’ll be back very soon �� x thank you

Just been for the second time. Faultless. Attentive staffing despite it been so busy. Food was spot on. Stuffed. You know you're doing something right if my dad says it's the best burger hes ever had.

I’ve been recommended PAX for ages. I decided to have a day out with my daughter so we chose to come here on Sunday. OMG the food is amazing. Highly recommend. Think I’ve recommended PAX now to everyone I’ve seen since Sunday ��

Ill put the service down to the fact the waitress was having a bad day. The main man ( probably owner / manager) was on the ball. 5 different burgers and sides all cooked and served to perfection. In 4 separate visits with various friends never had a bad bit of food or culinary complaint. Highly reccomend for a quick bite or chilled meal out !

Had the Chicken, Halloumi and avocado burger. Blew my mind clean open. Hands down best burger ive ever had. Also snaffled most of my 3 year old daughters chicken burger as she was too busy demolishing the chips! Lotta love for this place.

First visit here and definitely won’t be the last, friendly helpful staff and really tasty gorgeous food!! I really don’t understand the negative reviews people have given because the service my partner and I got was fantastic staff were happy/smiley couldn’t do enough for you. And as for burgers being pink read the menu! as it also states to ask for your burger well done if you don’t want it pink.

First time here and the service was fantastic. Mad to go to a burger place and not want a burger but as I was on (yet another) diet I asked our lovely waitress if I could have something plain with salad. They served me the most gorgeous butterflied chicken breast on top of a huge salad of lettuce, carrot, onions, tomatoes, pomegranate, cucumber, chilli and seeds with a fab light dressing - didn’t feel i was missing out at all. Fantastic, will defo return �

Tried this place tonight as a take-out as its been highly recommended to me by friends. Having not been to the restaurant before i ordered 2 kids burgers and 2 adult smokestacks not realising they serve up their adult burgers pink in the middle. When id got home and realised, I phoned the restaurant and explained i couldnt eat a pink burger ... the manager politely informed me that it states it on the menu but then kindly offered to replace my burgers for me. Customer service deserves top marks, felt looked after from walking into the shop and being greeted by the staff to speaking to the manager on the phone. The end result - very tasty burgers!!

The halloumi fries with pomegranate were perfect.

The chicken burger was tasty and succulent.

And the brownie was amazing!

Been a couple times and thought it was great but not sure I'll be back in a rush.

I know it says on the menu the burgers can be a little pink and I've never had a problem with them before but tonight it was red with blood dripping out on the bun!

I asked if it could be a bit more well done and the guy took the burger away.

About five minutes later he returned saying the menu says they are pink , which i know and had before but just didn't want blood dripping from it !

He also said it was busy and i just had to wait for it to be done in a very rude way.

When in finally come out was good, but not so nice watching your partner eat and for them to have to wait and watch you.

Asked for a second drink and come ten minutes after we finished and also had to ask twice for the bill.

I think it would be so much better for everyone if you was asked how you like the burger cooked and given an option for service charge, maybe the service would be better.

Went last night food was lovely ! Service terrible the girl was away with the fairies hadn’t even looked at menu and she just stood at end of table then asked us what drink we wanted ,,,it said on menu children got a drink with there meal but we were charged separate for her drink also asked if she wanted a pint or a half drink ? she is 6 years old no she does not want a pint of drink ,,,,! Overall food very nice but need to do some training with there staff , manners and etiquette cost nothing.

Staff were useless. Found it nice inside but the burgers were poor. We actually all left them then had to wait 30 mins for the bill after asking 3 times for it. My burger was the one with stilton which totally over powered the taste of everything and like I've read before the burger was oozing blood. We thought it was part of Eric's which is the nicest restaurant in Huddersfield and probably within 20 miles but won't ever go back. Shame as like the American dining idea but not there.

Ordered a take out, picked it up within 15 mins when they said and i live up the road from pax. It was cold!! Really greasy, everything had fallen out of the burger even in wrapping before opening it! Really disappointed!! Not worth the money at all. Ended up in the bin :(

Food is lovely however as we arrived we got told we had only just over an hour to eat and then leave the table. I didnt like this and i felt rushed before we had even ordered! Maybe need to think about leaving your customers with a little more time to relax and enjoy. I didnt have a dessert because we was over our time limit 🙄

A far cry from my home made burgers 🙁, had taken my son as a treat so I was very disappointed with the whole thing. Salt and pepper fries were just plain French fries too. I expressed my disappointment and was not charged for any of our food which was most decent of them. However I won't bother again. The service was very slow and we waited around 45 minutes for a burger.... Come on guys it's all you do! Michelin star restaurants have your food out in minutes!
