Hectic few days preparing and selling cakes at the Balsall Common Fun Run! The weather turned out much better than we first thought so despite losing the gazebo to a gust of wind (!) many cakes were purchased and we even sold out of the Banana & Blueberry Muffins (vegan, gluten free)! An enjoyable day for everyone involved and it all went smoothly thanks to the good organisational skills of The Lily Mae Foundation :)

The lemon drizzle and coffee and walnut cakes were to die for, the rock cakes, scones and iced buns were so light and delicious! So many of our friends and family asked me for my recipes that I almost became tempted to keep you as my guilty secret! However I confessed and handed out your contact details. Guess what now my friends are asking if you'll do Christmas orders!

If you love cake then you can't get better than AJ's delicious homemade cakes, my favourite would have to be carrot, or maybe lemon drizzle, or ginger. Tasty cakes made by a lovely lady and beautifully packaged to make them extra special. Highly recommended.

I took a box of AJ's legendary brownies into the office as a birthday gift. The "BEST EVER" was the feedback.

I understand that they freeze well, but they didn't last long enough to find out!

I ordered the Mothers Day lemon sponge and Viennese Whirls, Angela these were perfect, I will never buy shop bought Viennese whirls again , you helped make Mother's Day super special x Thankyou

I love these cakes. Had brownies (gluten free and regular) both so so so tasty, had flapjacks to take for a friends BBQ, cupcakes and most recently lemon and poppy seed muffin. It's so hard to say which is favourite but the taste, quality, presentation and service are all top notch! A great gift and a lovely treat

I have used AJ's Classic Cakes for a couple of years now and can honestly say that they are absolutely amazing!! Presentation, taste and decoration are all spot on. If that couldn't be good enough the customer service is second to none. Each cake is made to the highest standard and hand delivered. When I asked for a gluten free cake for the Christmas selection box I couldn't have had a better service.

Favourite so far: Salted Caramel Millionaires Shortbread!!

All I can say is wow, I ordered the lemon drizzle it's the best I've ever had, it was sooooooo moist, just beautiful, my husband is ordering me to get another one. I also had the chocolate brownies they were beautiful crunchie on the outside soft and decadent in the middle☺I will be ordering more
