Akwaaba exists to promote the work of African artists and designers. We support artists based in Africa by selling their hand-made arts and crafts, jewellery, clothes and paintings to a broad customer base within the United Kingdom.

Our artists and designers come from all walks of life and all have proven to be exceptionally talented when it comes to harnessing their craft. Akwaaba seeks out some of the best local talent in Africa and helps to connect artists & designers to the UK, a market that is incredibly difficult and normally too expensive for most to even consider.

From perfectly carved animal sculptures & statues to beautifully coloured African clothing, it is easy to see why African art is popular all over the world. Akwaaba sells a wide range of African products to markets across the United Kingdom, with bases in both London and Edinburgh.
