Warm, friendly atmosphere with good choices of Tapas. Definitely visit again.
The food is delicious (expecially paella negra) and Sangria was fabulous too
Quite simply the best Tapas in Oxford, the food is amazing, the wine list affordable and the staff great.
One of our favourite restaurants, well cooked, fresh food in great surroundings, love the terrace in summer and window seats when it's not so warm. Lots of favourite dishes, particularly the goats cheese in honey and the dates wrapped in bacon stuffed with blue cheese, who knew how good they could be! Hope to visit again soon.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, very attentive friendly staff, it was my birthday and as we sat down my husband passed a comment about it being my birthday, when the desserts came the staff had noted this and put a candle in the dessert for me. Lovely evening.
Jaime is a great professional and better person. Guarantee of success with him in the kitchen
It could do with a little attention to maintenance of the building interior, but the food, atmosphere and staff were lovely. Very chilled out place, relaxing and enjoyable.
Great, varied menu and a superb atmosphere. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
Great place for lunch. Very friendly service & excellent food.
First time here for three of us. We ordered nine dishes and loved every one of them! The service was swift and we were very well looked after. I will be back very soon.
Best paella in town and delicious good portion size tapas ...!
good value
Will be back soon :)
Best Tapas Bar in Oxford, the staff could not be more friendly. Will be back for sure! Yum!!!
Awesome place, great food and atmosphere. Authentic tapas a real gem in Oxford. Worth a visit
A great variety of tapas. My wife said the paella was quite simply the best she's ever tasted!
A firm favourite place of ours to go, amazing food and great friendly atmosphere! Would highly recommend!
Very nice. Quick and easy. Friendly staff and lovely food. Thanks
Great food and atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend it.
Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Tapas restaurants all seem to have exactly the same dishes but Al-Andalus has some different ones that I've only come across in Spain before - goats cheese with honey, cod balls, aubergine pate and more.
A lovely little tapas bar with a traditional feel. As soon as you walk in you are greated by the familiar smell of fresh tortilla cooking.
Spanish service but there should be no rush when eating tapas, so this adds to the casual holiday feel.
Portion size is standard.
The patata bravas (spicy potato) and albondigas (meatballs) were really good, as were the jamon croquettas (ham croquettes) and gambados a la plancha (grilled prawns).
Not so great were the calamari and the cod balls. The calamari batter was lovely but the squid must of been frozen as it was really chewy and hard and the cod balls had barely any fish in the batter.
