Over the past few weeks, Al-Ayn (Iraq) began to implement various plans and procedures so that critical aid can reach vulnerable families in their homes. This included increasing capacity of basic stocks in Al-Ayn's warehouses to address the magnitude of the emergency. Protective measures were also put in place to safeguard both aid workers and those receiving help across Iraq. We are humbled by the response so far to the COVID-19 Relief Campaign. This week, vulnerable families living in poor areas began receiving aid thanks to you. Unfortunately, the crisis is ongoing. The Hikayati programme was also recently piloted in Iraq! Circle time games give us the chance to connect together as a group and to reflect on what we have learnt. This reinforces the friendship and bonds between us and means that we can translate all the fun we have had today into lessons to take with us into the future. *Part of the Hikayati pilot workshops in Najaf in December 2019*.
