Went last night for my Birthday -very accommodating restaurant. We changed the time to later as it was so hot yesterday this was no problem . The staff were very friendly and they cooked a special dish for me . All our meals were delicious. They then brought out a special Birthday desert with a sparkler and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me . One of my sons has been there several times and I will definitely be going again. Highly recommended. Thank you �

Such a lovely friendly, family-style atmosphere! The food was incredible, even after we’d finished and were stuffed we still had plate envy for every dish leaving the kitchen!

We always go here for special occasions. Great with a group but also good for a romantic meal for 2.

The staff are really friendly and funny and the food is just amazing!

Love it so much we even went here after getting married last year and the staff and Pino all helped to make our day even more memorable.

Definitely recommend that everyone experience Al Bacio for themselves.

My partner and I went here last night, the food was so good, very authentic, a definate taste of Italy, a fresh fish counter, really enjoyed it and would recommend, it was very busy, we were in no hurry and wanted to spread our food out over the evening so service for us was ok but not attentive, will definitely return

Must have been fate that our hotel was just around the corner as we stumbled upon this place when walking to find food. So glad we decided not to look any further as the food was incredible and the staff were great! True Italian cuisine and feel. The garlic bread with cheese was unbelievable and so was the rest of the food the prawns was divine will travel every week just to come back

I highly recommend "pasta carbonara" and "pasta tartufata"! Staff are really kind, professional and friendly, they make you feel like at home!

To top off, prices are quite cheap and they oftenly do meal deals.

Found this restaurant looking for somewhere close to the Winston Theatre at Bristol University. My partner and I both relished the food - I had pork belly which was served with a wonderfully savoury sauce derived from the pork itself, beautifully intensified, with a perfect complement of apple sauce. My partner had langoustine which she clearly enjoyed eating, served with a deliciously garlicky/herby sauce. Service was prompt and discreet, and we overheard diners on another table clearly thrilled by their food. Given the excellence fo what was served, prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

Excellent food , made to feel very welcome with helpful, friendly staff. Lovely to be able to eat outside , just like being on holiday!

Brought a friend here for lunch for £10 lunch, as enjoyed an evening a couple of weeks ago. Food so fresh and attractive, spoilt fat attention and much laughter with various staff. Will be back

Al bacio is a fabulous restaurant, the food was amazing, we had such a lovely evening spent with great friends and food !

Very good service, food was very good home cooked not already packaged like some restaurants. Only downside is it is a bit pricey, and even though it says 10% service charge only added to 4 or more people, we pointed out that they had only charged us for one ice cream, when they took the bill away they had added the ice cream but also added a 10% service charge and there was only 2 of us. It marred what otherwise was a super meal.

We went for our Christmas and there was 16 of us, we paid a £10 deposit each which was fine. I got a phone call from the restaurant at 11am the day of the meal asking if there was any pre orders which they said we didn’t have arrange as we are ordering off the xmas menu. When we got to the restaurant took about 20 minutes for us to get our first drinks ( which was mainly bottles of wine). Took over an hour for us to get someone to order our food, every time was asked to order our food the waiter was giggle to himself and walk away (didn’t speak much English) once we ordered it took over an hour for the starters to come out! We was never checked if was want any drinks though this time either.

When we got the food it was lovely but some of it was cold.

Once we had our meals, the manger said that we didn’t pay our deposit and wanted us to pay in full, after a discussion this was finally solved.

When my friends made a comment to the manager about the poor service my manager was very unprofessional and got angry with my friend. For the problems we had the manager did give us a bottles of wine to say sorry.

All to get poor service and hospitality and would not recommend large groups to visit this restaurant.
