Wonderful food, charming ambiance and excellent service. My husband was amused by the sounds of appreciation as I ate the most delicious food!!! The Moutabal Baba Ghanoush, in particular, was the best I've eaten since I lived in Beirut. I wish I could teleport the whole place to where I live now in California so I could eat there every week!

We shared 3 starters and 1 main course as we could not decide what to eat. We were not disappointed. Superb food, excellent service in an amazing, quirky building situated near to the magnificent cathedral.

We had an amazing evening at Al-Farid. The decor is amazing and very authentic, the service friendly and efficient and the food was divine. We will definitely visit again when we are in Exeter.

This is a must visit place!! The inside is warm and comfy and looks like a scene from Aladdin and the food is divine!!

Such a beautifully quaint restaurant. Full of culture from the minute you walk in. The food was divine! Would definitely recommend the mezze platter and baklava. Will definitely be returning!

Popped in after 8pm on a Saturday night on the off chance for a table of two. Obviously they were full but asked to take a seat and they would see what they could do. Ordered two bottles of Moroccan lager which was fab, far to drinkable and given menus to check out. Waited maybe 10 minutes then told they had a table for us. Chose dishes off the meze menu including fig and cheese parcels which were fab and one of the best houmous I have tasted. Great service in a fantastic atmosphere, would happily eat here again and again. Thank you guys ’┐Į’┐Į

Our 2nd visit to this lovely little restaurant. The first time was early eve a year ago and we were lucky to get a table, so this time we booked, which was a good job as it was very busy. The first time we ate the meze but this time went down the main course route. Both times the food has been excellent, the service is very good with helpful advice about the authentic menu choices.

It's really good place to chill with friends after long day . It's so relaxing and shisha is the best. U can meet ppl here and socialise . If u'll come it's most probable we will be here and meet u

Excellent food very well cooked, prices very reasonable and a varied choice. Also gluten free. The staff were very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
