Had a few visitors to the awning today at Croft, we had ITV’s Louise Goodman popping in to see us & chat to Roman. Also joining us today was Zak Taylor who will be joining the grid later in the year with us & who came all the way to North Yorkshire to support his teammate RomskiRacing & got stuck in with some polishing of the Ginetta G40.
Qualified P4 this afternoon for races 1 & 2, but unfortunately due to extremely heavy rain & torrential conditions, race 1 was red flagged... under safety grounds after 1 lap behind the safety car, obviously the correct decision with regards the welfare & safety of the junior drivers.
Race 2, Live on ITV4 tomorrow will be 15:25 where again Roman lines up P4.

Looking... ahead to the weekend, as it’s race week!! Zooming... into North Yorkshire’s Croft circuit. Focussing... on getting the job done, scoring some solid points & bringing home some silverware.

Welcome to driver number 2... Zak Taylor joins us for testing around his Motorsport UK British Kart Championship commitments, and will race in the Ginetta Junior rounds at Thruxton, Silverstone & Brands Hatch.

Whilst we were busy at Thruxton with Ginetta Juniors, our karting squadron were also busy at the 5th round of the Shenington club championships.

Where do we begin?
Everything changed last week as we ended the collaboration we had had at the start of this season. That was quickly followed by the Bilinski family wishing to remain with Ali who had formed a fantastic working relationship with Roman. The car was collected & delivered to us at lunchtime on Wednesday leaving us roughly 24 hours to get everything into place, and by everything, we mean everything!
... . Arrange with Ginetta a change of team for the driver. . Speak with the TOCA paddock organisers to arrange paddock space. . Order race fuel. . Order race tyres. . Completely check the car. . Unload & reload the truck.
By 10am on Friday we pulled into Thruxton to set up & prepare for the 3rd Ginetta Junior meeting of the year. At this point we’d like to thank Ginetta technical staff for coming to see us to check the car was ok, a few issues were found, but these were very quickly resolved.
A message filtered through on Sunday morning from ITV commentator who told us that he had requested the onboard camera was fitted to Roman’s car for both races.
And to top it all off, in Sunday’s Live TV race Roman finished a brilliant 6th place & 3rd Rookie.
Thanks to everyone who supported us with well wishes, offers of help & equipment.
Focus now turns to completely stripping & rebuilding the Ginetta G40 ahead of Croft I’m just under 4 weeks time.

Well the news is out... After a whirlwind 36 hours, we are pleased & proud to announce that we are solely running Roman Bilinski for the remainder of the 2019 Ginetta Junior season.
We are extremely excited to be working with the young Polish superstar, and continue the amazing working relationship we’ve developed during the opening 2 rounds.
Thruxton, here we come!!!!

It’s race week!!!
With Easter now behind us, and a shortened working week, round 2 of the Ginetta Junior Championship at Donington is already almost upon us.
Your timetable, including Thursdays test schedule is here, and if you can’t make it this weekend, then you can catch all of Sunday’s action Live on ITV4 from 10:40am.

All in all a good day at the Thruxton TOCA test with RomskiRacing. No messing, no gimmicks, no tow. Just genuine pace 👌🏻
