News flash! We have an opening date for our RAMSGATE RESTAURANT, but also another drawback which we hope you might help with. Yes, it's a long way since our planned timeframe in June-July but due to unforeseen circumstances and our desire to make this a success we were forced to delay this until September.

As many of you already know we placed a number of flower planters on the pavement in front of the restaurant to improve the landscape, create a good atmosphere and mark the outside seating area. Unfortunately Kent County Council through Kent Highways has ASKED US TO REMOVE THEM!
We're now asking you our beloved customers to get involved and WRITE to KCC and ask them kindly to allow us to leave the planters where they are as we think they improve the landscape of the area.

We had a fabulous celebration meal tonight. Our waitress was fantastic and went out of her way to make our evening special. The surprise baclava with the sparkler was a wonderful touch.Thank you A La Turka for a memorable night!

We booked a table for yesterday, it was my first time coming here. All I can say is wow, the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and attentive, lovely atmosphere, clean and tidy. We will definitely be back. �

My partner and I adore Turkey but have never tried Ala Turka so I decided today that we would go. We walked in and asked for a table for 2 but I didn't pre book.. One of the ladies hurried off and cleaned a table making room for us. We ordered a starter each which was beautiful. The flavours were fantastic. Mains came soon after and all I can say is wow. The lamb just fell apart and was cooked perfectly. My partners chicken was moist and spot on. We were told that prices are quite high but we both said that for what you get, quality and quantity the price was spot on! We will definitely be returning. Now our new favourite restaurant.

My hubby and i came here for the first time today for dinner sat out side the food we ordered was delicious the staff are so warm , polite and friendly

I loved the fact I was offered a blanket when it got a little chilly

Had a meal here on 19/1/18, there were 25 of us for my Mum's birthday, The food was amazing, staff were lovely. Friendly and welcoming, lovely atmosphere. The only negative for our group was how the tables were laid out for us, some of us had to have our backs to the rest of the group. (but it was a large group) We are already planning to go again, Thank you for a lovely evening �

As soon as I walked inti the restaurant last Saturday, the atmosphere was overwhelming ! The food was amazing portion sizes where so good and delicious �.

The service was also spot on, even though they were very busy, there was always someone on hand.

So we booked a table 3 weeks ago for our anniversary tonight. I even put on the reservation that it was for our anniversary. We arrived before our booked time to be told we could either sit outside or sit at the only table for two crammed in next to the ice cream machine and next to the bar. It was cold so we opted for the inside table but within a couple of minutes we were crowded by bar staff and couldn't hear each other speak. Another waiter could see we weren't happy and offered us a table outside which we accepted on the condition that when another table inside became available we could have it. The food and service by the second waitress was fantastic but not once we're we offered a blanket or the heaters on even though everyone around us were offered blankets and I had previously mentioned that I didn't want to sit outside as I felt the cold. By the time you got halfway through the food it was cold. I appreciate that some people like to eat outside and that is there choice but we weren't given a choice it was just assumed we would want to sit outside. At one point we were surrounded by 24 people waiting for there table to be made ready and we were made to feel that we were in their way. From the whole experience I have assumed the bigger the party the better the service. It's such a shame as we were so looking forward to a great meal and experience but we left upset and cold. I'm afraid to say it ruined our anniversary. I hate to put a place down but even with us complaining we wasn't listened to and we're just left to get on with it.

Food was nice but service very slow, had to ask to order then had a long wait and our starters and main meal were served together after being there an hour.. it was much better on our previous visit though..

This was my third visit here and although the food is lovely, the service is very slow and took along time to be seen, I was here with family who were visiting and they were very disappointed! The wine is very over priced and poor and maybe the staff need to be more experienced! The manager seemed more interested in the bigger tables hence more money and the smaller tables and unknowns completely ignored ! I think next time we will try somewhere where we feel welcomed and looked after !
